Class 1 LGV Driver (Current Employee) - Penrith - 4 April 2022
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedOveral it is good place to work. New wagons and most of tbe trailers. Most days you decide what time you start. Some days are long shifts up to 13-14 hours. Sometimes they try to compensate with less hours next day. Downside is that there is salary and working 60h/week gives you less than 10p/h which is not great these days.

LGV 1 Driver (Former Employee) - Penrith - 2 August 2020
Good place to work. Worked for them almost 18 months on night shift. You got you job to do and nobody bothers you during your shift. Only reason I left that I 2as tired of night shifts. If the would offer a dau shift I would go back without hesitation.
Pros
Good atmosfeere and freedom
Cons
Sometimes dirty jobs

HGV Class 1 walking floors
class one walking floor driver (Former Employee) - Penrith - 29 December 2017
Working from Penrith depot four nights out per week, early starts, sometimes late finishes, can be dirty work delivering forest products, waste amongst other things.
Good quality vehicles, Volvos and Scania, good quality trailers, well maintained, good salary, overnight parking paid. Left up to you to do the jobs. Easy work after the first few months.
Pros
Good vehicles, trailers and wages.
Cons
Bit too far to travel.
