Stable but Pressurised WorkWorking hours are 8am-4pm and you are required to work mandatory overtime from 8am-1pm on a Saturday. You can request to have a Saturday off, but will not be allowed if one of the other 3 estimators has already done so. Comission is paid on your ex. VAT sales for the month providing you have acheived a minimum of £30k of sales. That's an acheiveable target, but the comission is a pretty low rate (e.g. 1% of a special offer sale worth £50) meaning you don't earn much above your base rate of pay. A work perk is that you get a company car with fuel, etc. paid for and can get away with using it for small and low-distance journeys outside of work hours. You can also run errands during your day at work and finish early if you get through all of your jobs, however you will only be paid for the hours you work.
