hectic work schedule and pace
this was a typical busy modern workplace where time is the enemy every job was timed to the last available minute. There was no place for mistakes as these cost time and money the equipment was ok for a modern garage and the materials were of high standard i enjoy painting cars as the before and after results are stunning as i take a lot of pride in my work.

Definitely not for those who desire nice work surroundings
Its a car workshop and is cold, filthy, and without decent facilities. I believe H&S or SEPA would close them down if visited. The workers are all good guys and helpful but not appreciated by the owner who could only be described as unbalanced and not consitant in instructions.

Demanding workplace with little to no perks, above average salary.
Nice work colluges to work with and a good team atmosphere among the workerfoce. Management is demanding and un willing to listen to the opinions of the workers. Time constraints on jobs are very tight on some jobs so bouns is very up and down as to when you can make and the process as to how it is worked is very complicated so it can be difficult to know what you have earned. They dont give you any pay slips either as to what the break down of your wage and tax are. Some of your annual leave is lost to forced days off as the garage is shut on certain days that you must use days off for and getting a day off in the summer when it is the company's busy period can be difficult even if no one else is off from your department.

Excellent employer
This is a good company to work for and they are aiming to attain their ATA soon, early start and early finish, wages are always in the bank on time and the manager is very approachable and easy to get on with, it has modern equipment and if you require additional materials, you simply ask and they are provided.
