Agency employed way too many carers lately expecially those once on care visas,number of good pay shifts , standards and skilled staff declined,only available shifts are those one for minimal pay in the worst care homes!

Good rates there pluses and minuses

When the agency is busy its great. However, because they are classed as an expensive by care providers (and this is why they pay higher) often they are quiet. The plus, on top of good rates, they pay annual leave.

Agency nurse

When there is work it’s fine but once there’s no work you hear nothing. I rang the agency everyday and they gave me nothing. Also, it isn’t mentioned that you join multiple agencies not just one, so therefore they’re a little misleading. Pay could be improved but that’s the same in nursing.
