Place was okay, but teams were a bit thirsty of power and rude while reporting to manager they teamed up just to be against you when you had the right and the proof.

Poor Management, refused days off

Health Care Assistant (Current Employee) - Bradford-on-Avon - 10 June 2022

The Management is poor, they add to your rota and don’t tell you. I was made to work 11+ days without a single day off and was then told that it was because of what I put down on availability. They don’t take any notice of the Availability. Constant calls and messages to ask if you can cover shifts everyday. Favouritism in the work force. Out for 8hrs a day but only get paid 5/6hrs. No breaks in between to stop and have something to eat or rest.

Pros

Clients are lovely and you can get BL discount

Cons

Long hours, lots of travelling, no breaks, no days off, poor management

I have a good opinion about this company because they took care to find me another live in very fast,even at the beginning I was working for another agentie and they took care to offer me another job.For any problem I can call the supervisor and solve my needs.This agency was recommended to me by an health care assistant who has been working with Abicare for 9 years

Busy but rewarding

Can be busy and hard work if short staffed but a great team to work alongside and if need to swap a shift they will always do there best to help, each client is unique yet lovely in there own way and always have a story to tell

Management talk about the service users and the staff mocking them they never answer the telephone they blatantly ignore you if you can’t do something there attitude is tough! Registered manager is discusting and the side kick! The whole Swindon set up is an absolute haphazard not a caring nature between the lot of them
