Lack of Managment Skills across the board
Business & Integration Architect (Current Employee) - London, Greater London - 1 May 2020
It seems the grading structure across Accenture means those who are good at their job technically, means they become management and in charge of people - these two things are not synonymous, and ends up lack of moral and direction more often than not.

Accenture is a great company to work with
Application Development Team Lead (Current Employee) - India and United Kingdom - 9 March 2020
I started my career with Accenture and would have never left if my husband wasn't staying in Canada which made me relocate. Accenture always keeps you updated with the new technologies by their learning platform. Would recommend anyone to join it.

A great experience
Talent Fulfilment Specialist (Former Employee) - London - 6 November 2019
Good organisation to work for and will certainly open up doors when looking ahead in your career. Some fantastic people but the culture is cut throat. Results speak volumes and if you are not hitting targets you will soon know about it.

big and slow
Senior Software Engineer Team Lead (Former Employee) - London - 7 August 2019
Salaries are quite under the average and career progress is very slow.
Using the newest tools is not very common and working with delivery centres can be difficult. Good exposure to big projects.

Work / Life Balance

Outside of the top of mind consulting area of the business is the corporate functions business which enjoys more freedom in the work life balance. Our roles are the standard 9 - 5.30pm, with freedom to work from home and be flexible to respond to the priorities of life.

A Very Good Company - It Is my first company and I have worked here for almost 9 years and not much Cons I can think of.
Application Development Team Lead (Current Employee) - London - 25 March 2019
I love this company and they recognize good work.
People are respected and motivated. HR Policies are very good.
You can have great learning here and they give importance to your preferences.
They take effort to make your pay a bit more than what's offered in market (If you have proved well, of course)

Good place to work
Infrastructure Specialist (Former Employee) - Warwick - 13 March 2019
Accenture is a great place to work especially from the sense of employee wellbeing schemes and advancement opportunities. From experience there is generally a good mix of working from the office, at client sites and from home.

great place if you like a "camp america" style of working
dogs body (Former Employee) - Europe - 6 March 2019
Hard work is rarely rewarded, instead charity days, organising quizzes and socials and taking part in activities which do not add value to client are instead rewarded.
Ample opportunity for training, good perks and worklife balance is something they're big on.
Always seems to me to be more like one of those teen camps you see in the old american movies, lots of people keen to show their faces at events and a handful of people who pick up the slack.
Massive over reliance on India resulting in lots of work done by a select few in the EU to micro manage and train and argue and eventually redo some of the work. Lots of solutions late and not fit for purpose due to the lack of controls in place.
If you want to coast, this is the place, if you want to push yourself and get rewarded, try PA or PWC
Pros
no expectations
Cons
no expectations

Enjoyable and demanding.
Contractor - Commercial Portfolio Accountant (Former Employee) - London - 27 February 2019
Multi-cultural company that draws on experiences from a wide range of talented individuals. Working there is sometimes considered a lifestyle choice where you live the job during demanding periods.
A great place to learn in a structured environment which brings its own frustrations at times.
Pros
Work from Home; Global Feel; Varied work
Cons
Long Hours
