Dealing with abuse/bullying/intimidationfrom Management and senior staff. All because the clique protected each other (well, until they turned on each.other..which always occurred eventually).
Getting positive or meaningful support from anyone above the manager (RD, Area director, operations manager etc...) . We have a great team of hardworking support staff and a very dedicated manager and we are constantly treated like numbers by Achieve together and like we dont matter and could be replaced at any time. It's all cutting any cost to make more money even at the expense of the service users.
The hardest part, is staying positive and optimistic when you're constantly underpaid and undervalued regardless of how hard you work and how much of yourself you give to the job.
I really hope you read these answers. Your staff truly care about their service users. However, management dont care about their staff. In reality, they're the reason you can even run the business. Show appreciation and understanding for your staff. Treat them and make them feel like there not wasting their life working for a company that doesnt care about them.
Trying to work whilst being bullied and also having everything blamed on you
Management displayed more challenging behaviour than the service users.
Getting the new manager to listen to Experienced staff.
From shift lead and above lazy and lie about what they actually do. Slag support staff off, whilst they do nothing all day
Tension at work, manager not approachable, Favouritism. Some staff get better treatment.
No, support nor recognition from the company, the manager is worse. Very tense place to work. They are all about creating an image, but don't care about staff, recruit alot of staff but can't keep them.
