Due to the nature of the work of the work it is mainly mornings and evening. However, this is both during the week and at weekends.

  • Hello, thank you very much for your question. Due to the nature of the care industry every day is different and coping with vulnerable clients can be stressful. All roles are customer facing so you will need to be pro-active and to think on your feet. Intensive training and work experience by working with experienced colleagues will give you the necessary skills to deal with any eventuality. The management team are on hand if needed.

  • Hello, thank you very much for your question. Acquire Care follows the guidelines set by the British Government, Oxfordshire Council Council, Public Health England, NHS and CQC. The business is regulated by both Oxfordshire Council Council and the CQC and the necessary policies and procedures are followed in relation to Covid-19. PPE is supplied to all staff free of charge and temperature checks are regularly monitored.

  • Hello, thanks very much for your question.No, the visits vary in length according to the requirements of each client. Private visits can vary from 30 minutes (minimum) to full-time live-in care. Oxfordshire County Council sometimes request a 15-minute visit. Travelling times between clients are kept at a minimum but there may be sometimes when this is not possible due to circumstances not under our control. These include holidays, visiting times and carer's illness.
