Marketing Assistant in Sidcup

Challenging but worthwhile
I started AD Construction Group as a Apprentice Marketing Assistant in December 2016, I have completed my apprenticeship and now a full time employee. AD Construction Group is a relaxed place to work, and I enjoy working in the marketing team. A typical day of work at AD for me is fill out Selective Questionnaires / Pre-Qualification Questionnaires, looking for new opportunities, help organise any events coming up and go to conferences. This is my 3rd year at AD and I feel like I have learnt a lot of from the team, they have taught me about the construction industry as I had no clue what the construction industry was all about. I feel I have gained a lot more confidence whilst being at AD by attending conferences and company events talking to our existing and new clients. I have learnt to manage multiple deadlines and assist my team in meeting these deadlines. My team are all very supportive and we ensure we help each other with any task. The most enjoyable part of my job is attending different conferences and helping organising company events, I enjoy socialising with clients and members of staff. Also, when we have been successful on Selective Questionnaires / Pre-Qualification Questionnaires I have completed this shows a sign of achievement. The hardest part of my job is gathering information from the Contract Manager for tenders but I ensure I give them plenty of notice or ask to arrange a meeting instead of keep chasing them up.

A very good company to work for, support available from the management team, lots of training and progression available. A family ran company with family values.

Poor
Worst company ever. Only care about you if you are a manager. Managers have 0 people skills and only care about their profit. LOWEST OF THE LOW WAGES.
