The most useful review selected by IndeedWorking with Addecco saved me, as not many others were willing to take in somebody with little to no experience. Had consistent back to back jobs with them, though I know this won't be consistent, and it's definitely not a reliable form of income. But it's great for getting some work experience under your belt, while not necessarily being something I see myself doing long term.

Adecco are usually helpful and responsive with all queries and there is never any pay disputes but progression doesn't exist, you will bound between assignments.

Customer Service Assistant (Former Employee) - South Western Railway - 8 August 2023
Signed up to them as the agency I previously worked for lost the contract at my location to them. We were promised the same hourly rate and that didn't happen with a loss of £2 per hour. We were expected to travel to locations that were unachievable within minimum rest requirements or without a hotel at short notice on minimum wage. You can't claim it back. Breaks were 20 minutes including the time you took to walk to rest area, thankfully the management at the locations tended to let you take longer breaks in line with their companies rules. Training was provided by other agency staff, so it's easy to trained completely wrong. This is just what I saw.

Standard customer service advisor role - adecco did what they’re supposed to do - place us into job roles. Job was fairly standard, paid weekly and was made permanent at the end of the 12 weeks

Good company to work for. Constantly updating you with new vacancies and regular contact from staff. Pay was always on time and training provided was very helpful. Felt supported even though the role was working remotely,

1 of the better agencies to work for. Never any issues with pay,timesheets or questions which needed dealing with. Always kept informed on change of contracts etc.

Easy job

Overall good environment to work in as you are compensated for overtime by shortening the next day's schedule. Didn't had a proper team to work with though.

I've worked on and off for Adecco for nearly 10 years. They make you feel like you are not just a number and always go out of their way to get you great employment assignments. I've tried others but I always come back to Adecco.

Temp Work via Adecco

I was placed for 9 months as a temp and felt always supported by Adecco and my consultant. I got always paid on time and the whole process from signing to finishing the assignment was really was really smooth

Two faced
Customer Service Advisor (Former Employee) - Rochester - 9 December 2022
They start off very nice, when they need you, but then proceed to lie to you and eventually blacklist you for doing a good job, because you left an assignment for VERY good reasons. Pay was messed up a few times, which didn't help for living and paying bills. Thought I'd actually found a good recruitment company, but was extremely disappointed. You are just a number and pound signs to them

Good altogether just sad they get rid of people from contracts so quick . Have a back up job ready. Really stressed me out that I had to leave the contract after a month of work due to them hiring too many people.

Not a good experience with these I'm afraid. They mainly offer the same, low paid, hap-hazard roles week in, week out, that offer no security and can leave you dropped mid-shift. The consultants aren't really interested unless you're ready to work for them at a drop of a hat and will ignore you if you have any problems.

Good job, but stressfull if sensitive to the nature of the job

It was difficult to cope with some of the calls as they can be suicidal or terminally ill. Good company to work for and working from home a bonus. Good management.
