Working with Addecco saved me, as not many others were willing to take in somebody with little to no experience. Had consistent back to back jobs with them, though I know this won't be consistent, and it's definitely not a reliable form of income. But it's great for getting some work experience under your belt, while not necessarily being something I see myself doing long term.

Brilliant agency to work for

They can get rid of you whenever they want without valid reasons. Or even just change your contract and give you no work at all. Unreliable. If they don’t really like you, they’ll find a way to screw you over. You don’t even need to be a bad person or cause issues.

Good WFH role

They start off very nice, when they need you, but then proceed to lie to you and eventually blacklist you for doing a good job, because you left an assignment for VERY good reasons. Pay was messed up a few times, which didn't help for living and paying bills.Thought I'd actually found a good recruitment company, but was extremely disappointed. You are just a number and pound signs to them

Wish I hadn't bothered

They're keen to help and offer advice etc when you apply for certain roles but act childish if you get dismissed from a role. Phoned and the caller pretended to be the receptionist and still didn't return my phone call and didn't offer any support or guidance when the company blatantly lied to get rid. Response to emails was terrible. Lacking in any kind of support and might as well said "oh well never mind "

Good altogether just sad they get rid of people from contracts so quick . Have a back up job ready. Really stressed me out that I had to leave the contract after a month of work due to them hiring too many people.

I enjoy my job with Adecco but...

Telephone Operator (Current Employee) - Liverpool - 21 October 2022

Only downside is the way holiday entitlement is accrued. You have to accrue each holiday and I have just had a week's holiday with no pay because the holiday year starts 1st October and my leave was 1st Oct, so to take a week's holiday you have to have worked 9 weeks meaning there is no holiday leave before 1st week in Dec

Very poor agency.

Not a good experience with these I'm afraid. They mainly offer the same, low paid, hap-hazard roles week in, week out, that offer no security and can leave you dropped mid-shift. The consultants aren't really interested unless you're ready to work for them at a drop of a hat and will ignore you if you have any problems.
