Very poor agency.

Not a good experience with these I'm afraid. They mainly offer the same, low paid, hap-hazard roles week in, week out, that offer no security and can leave you dropped mid-shift. The consultants aren't really interested unless you're ready to work for them at a drop of a hat and will ignore you if you have any problems.

Good for the time I was working for them. Got shitfs as long as you go to them it was continues weekly but then they cancel.What more could you possibly say. They give you work when they need to.

Disappointing experience

I was totally misled before and during the interview as to who I would be working for and the nature of the work I would be involved in. (Recently I heard something very similar from a new recruit in my department which is concerning.) My employment with Adecco has been a thoroughly disappointing experience and I can’t wait for my contract to end. My advice would be to ask a lot of questions before committing to a job with Adecco.

Worst company ever

Various Administration Contracts (Former Employee) - Stockton-on-Tees - 26 July 2022

Really let their staff down during the pandemic. No regard for safety, job security or well being of their workers. I will never take a job through adecco ever again. They lie about their tempt to perm jobs and are happy being used as an excuse for large companies to hire long term staff with no proper contract that they can just fire at the drop of a hat. (Such as during a global pandemic when their work load drops.)

Extremely proactive managers

Telephone Operator (Former Employee) - Glasgow - 20 July 2022

The managersseemed not to a sense of comradeship. Instead they presented impossible targets in performance that only a small percentage achieved. You were forced to harrang clients or to condescend to customer priority.

Poor, lacking work

Warehouse Operative (Former Employee) - Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire - 12 July 2022

Not enough work offered and you have to keep ringing them to see if any jobs have come in, so you can be sent out. They also deceive you with the pay, advertising it as more but in actual fact is minimum wage. They also don’t inform you of the policies you would have to adhere to at the places they send you to, making you look silly when you turn up for the interview.

Good job, but stressfull if sensitive to the nature of the job

It was difficult to cope with some of the calls as they can be suicidal or terminally ill. Good company to work for and working from home a bonus. Good management.

Not great

Boat Builder (Former Employee) - Poole - 22 June 2022

Given work at Sunseeker but no progression, no training and not offered a contract even though some others less experienced were on contracts and did very little work, most people spend few hours a day in toilets on phones and managers have no time for agency workers - avoid !

I worked at Christmas time in Amazon ware house in Bath. Payment is on time and salary is high. Supervisors and help desk are in ware house and always find time for you. Co workers are very nice. Specially Scottish Co workers are very helpful.
