Great IT Support Company to work at

I have worked in IT services for over 25 years. The last five at ADM Computing in Canterbury. I just wish I had come here years ago.Great place to work. Colleagues are fantastic. The bosses genuinely care about customers and staff. They organise plenty of activities for staff and customers if you want to join in but there is no pressure to do so. You don’t get promoted by being one of the gang, they are more interested in how you treat the clients.I have been offered more personal support and training here than any other company I worked for. They are genuinely into the environment and equality but without making it a gimmick.As an older worker I have seen a lot of IT companies and ADM is very good.

Amazing Workplace with plenty of opportunities for progression

ADM has been an amazing place to work. From my first day I have felt part of the ADM family. Everybody is so warm and welcoming which helps you to feel like you belong. The work is interesting and varied with lots of chances to work on something new. The company helps you along every step of the way with courses and exams paid for and then finincially awarded for completing. They also offer complete personal support to help me not as a member of staff but as a person.The colleagues is also what separates this company apart. It feels like they are all working towards the same goal and and will help you along the way.This is the place to work to gain more experience than anywhere else whilst also being encouraged to go further. ADM will allow you to grow and will reward you for it.The company also has plenty of chances to socialise with your fellow workers who very quickly become friends. ADM provides amazing opportunities in work and out of work which are difficult to find anywhere else.

A great place to learn and grow!

Having been with ADM for 6+ years I can honestly say that ADM offer a truly relaxed professional environment for you to learn and grow in your career. They will support you in your aspirations to progress and help you in any way they can to help you achieve these.They offer a great range of technical avenues for engineers to explore and often give all levels of engineer the ability to delve into these and support them to further their knowledge. The management are very approachable and understandable, they are very flexible and always willing to listen whether it is a work or personal related issue.

Rewarding, supportive and great career progression.

In my two years at ADM my knowledge, confidence, and opportunities have exponentially been growing. You are always learning new skills among a friendly group of colleagues, and you can see everyone progressing around you in a hybrid environment.Management makes everyone feel welcome and they support you in any matters or questions that you might have.All around, a safe, happy, and productive place to work. I am proud to work here.

Very Good Place To Work

Workload is always balanced across the teams. You're alway well compensated for hard work and the hybrid working is a great benefit.Everyone in the company has always been very friendly and welcoming, with a sense of teamwork and friendship.

Energetic and productive

Working at ADM is a gift. In my year of being here my knowledge and confidence has grown exponentially, the amount of training they get you on learning about 365 and networking infrastructure.The work culture is full of life lots of work outings where we can socialise and have a drink as well as lots of opportunities to shadow and learn from others on the team.The management here make everyone feel welcome and are extremely understandable and supportive should there be a personal or work issue.

Awesome place to work!

Friendly environment with all the support you need. Whether you've been here 1 week or 10 years, ADM look after you.You have the real chance to progress and make a career, with noticeable knowledge being gained. You see yourself and others growing around you.

Fun place to work and great place to learn.

Since joining ADM I've had nothing but positive interactions with the staff. Everyone at ADM is extremely helpful and positive. There is plenty of opportunity to study and grow. ADM pay for you to take various exams and even reward you for passing these exams. There is a good mix of office and onsite work. No day is the same. Plenty of people around you to provide support.

A great place to work

The work environment at ADM is good, you're able to have a laugh and work collaboratively with the other engineers. Support is always there when needed, and it is easy to ask for help.Additionally, training is not only provided for free but is encouraged and incentivised. I joined ADM as an apprentice and rapidly developed as an engineer. This is due to the process that ADM put you through, gradually increasing work difficulty and providing training and support through the other engineers.

Toxic environment

It has taken me a few years and experience in a variatey of roles to realise my time at ADM was the worst job I have ever had.In my year here I enjoyed my time with the help desk staff but almost any interaction with management or HR was stressful and uncomfortable, I found them to be confrontational and hostile from soon after i started. There was zero flexibility and no trust between management and the teams.

4 years in and plenty more to go

ADM is a fantastic company to work for, I have been with the company now for 4 years and have really enjoyed my time here. It is important for ADM Computing that each new employee gets to experience what it is like in all the different areas of the business from tech support to sales. This is something often overlooked at other companies and I really do feel like I understand the business a lot more because of it. I look forward to what the future holds for me at ADM Computing

High staff turnover

Good company all in all. Some clueless managers but a kind and caring MD who would help you out when needed, Poor communication between departments and work relationships can be a bit clicky.

1 Weeks Work Experience

Great business, great people. In total I spent a week at ADM Computing and I loved it. I was able to experience many different aspects of the business and take a hands on approach in those areas.
