Employment Agency

Indeed featured review

The most useful review selected by Indeed
Was a great agency But not so good now at crick office as most of their work gone.Lucky if you get 2 days a week. But they text you with times for day after even when no work. I suppose just to stop you looking else where.I’m sure there other offices are probably better with more work

Pros

Easy work if they give you any

Cons

Not enough hrs. And they lie

Our team in Crick work very hard dealing with ever-changing client forecasts and short notice additions and cancellation of shifts, but they do their upmost to share work in quieter times as much as possible. The greater the level of flexibility you have on start times the more able we are to offer assignments as we have to move with our clients needs. Please give our team at the Crick office a call to see if we can offer you alternative work opportunities within our client base. ADR Network

Very helpful and flexible

Excellent agency. Plenty of work given out by the girls who are probably under a lot of pressure with client demands. It pays to be flexible with shift times as it will guarantee you plenty of work. The offices in Corby and Peterborough are very good at informing you of shift times the day before and they are always very helpful.

Pros

Consistent work

Co op birtley 14hr planned shifts.

ADR work on behalf of the co op the birtley hub where I worked class 2 delivery driver job was OK but the hours and shifts are to inconsistent I was promised plenty of work and shifts I've never had more than 3 days a week they plann you 2 runs 14 hrs most of the time always blame co op saying theve cancelled shift when really theve took on to many agency drivers so they've got everything covered but to your downfall not many shifts a week the pay looks attractive but you won't get the shifts to make a descent wage really AVOID this agency.

Pros

If you only want £300 a weeks wage

Cons

Lie to you cancel your shift to juggle others in.

As a temporary driving agency our role is to constantly ensure that our driver supply matches the daily/weekly requirements of our clients. In doing this we regularly check in with our clients to obtain forecasted requirements and base our recruitment activities on the number of drivers needed to fill all of their expected assignments. Sometimes our client’s volumes change and this can be down to the weather, customer buying habits and promotional product changes. We always do our very best to manage expectations and provide accurate information to drivers on the likely amount of work available each week. We can get this wrong when our client does not ask us for the predicted number of drivers needed, and this can be frustrating for all of us. Agency work can have its ups and downs and therefore the more flexible you can be on your work location, the more opportunities we can offer you. Please do get in touch with your local ADR Network office to see if there are other assignments that you would like to be put forward for.

Say no to a shift an ur ignored..

I was at Morrisons Gadbrook.. The work was easy but ADR Booked u in daily then cancelled 2hrs b4 start of shift.. 3/5 shifts per week.. They seemed to only want Weekend workers, and if you wouldn't/couldn't work a sat/sun then you had no chance of work through the week..

Pros

Easy work.. Dont touch the load at all..

Cons

Shift cancelled 2hrs b4 start time 60/70% of the time..

I'm sorry to read that you have had a bad experience. At this time the majority of the work that we have available at this site is at the weekend, with significantly reduced requirement throughout the week. Due to the nature of the business that we work in, work sometimes can only be allocated or withdrawn with relatively short notice. If you are ever experiencing any issues, you should raise these with the local ADR Network team and if required the branch manager. If your issues continue please then contact head office on 01582 393535.ADR Network

Less job than before

They have less job than before (2-3 days a week) sometimes they try to push you on the shift ad-hoc same day 2h before start time…. 1 week they can give you start time at 15:00 then week after at 23:30 :/ weekend work very often and hard job is well

Terrible company

Was told I had the job for Stockton to start afternoons on the Monday then start the Sunday the following week with full time hours. Got a text on the Monday morning telling me they had enough drivers so wasn't required same happened on the Tuesday sp told them not to bother again. Was obviously only going to be fitted in as of when suited them which wasn't what I was told. My advice with these lot is be very careful from what they tell you to what you actually get.

I'm sorry that we were unable to find work for you on this occasion. Due to the nature of the business that we operate in, work sometimes can only be allocated with relatively short notice, requirements and start times can vary. The more flexible you can be with your start times, the easier it is to offer an alternative assignment. ADR Network

Agency like any other

Nothing special to keep you working for them. They have their favorites who gets more shifts. They planning is bad cause they dont stick to your start times and ofen push you to reduce your rest to 9 hours

Due to the nature of the business that we operate in, work sometimes can only be allocated with relatively short notice, and requirements can vary. ADR Network will never force any driver to reduce their weekly rest, this must be the choice of the driver, should they wish to accept the work available. During quieter times, we look to spread the work out as much as possible to ensure that everyone has a decent weekly earnings level. For any concerns please do speak with our local branch who will try to accommodate requirements as much as possible.

I'm sorry to read that you have had a bad experience. Due to the nature of the business that we work in, work sometimes can only be allocated with relatively short notice, and requirements may go up and down from week to week. However, in the first instance you should always raise any concerns with your ADR Network branch manager. If your issues continue please then contact head office on 01582 393535.

Driver

Whatch this guys what they said I'm work with them 10 years ago that was really good money work with them 3 years with no issue but this day not enough hours short shift lots of drivers came no money guys

Management

ADR management at the Co-op food depot in St Helens don't have enough work for the drivers who have been thier for years, yet they keep taking new drivers on knowing they don't have any shifts for them, they have no respect for their staff and are forcing PAYE drivers to go Ltd. ADR seem to look for contract's for mainly HGV 1 drivers even though they have plenty of HGV 2 drivers on their books.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Please always discuss any concerns with the team within the branch, we aim to provide everyone with as much work as they want. In order to cope with the volatile changes in requirements, we must continue to recruit. The majority of the work that we have available is for HGV 1, rather than HGV 2, but please discuss alternative HGV 2 work with your branch.ADR Network will never force any driver to supply their services via a Ltd Co, this is entirely at the individual's discretion. For clarity, we engage far more drivers directly on a paye basis rather than sub-contracting to other service providers. Please contact Head Office on 01582 393535 if you feel that this is not the case.

Good agency

As agencies go their not bad. good pay and benefits, honest as they can be and try best to keep you working. Good quality clients with good work practices helps.

Hi, thanks very much for taking the time to leave a review. ADR Network

Could be good....

....but the BS lets them down. As an agency driver they promise you as much work as you want, 5 or 6 days a week. However this may be the case at first and the work soon drops off. 1 or 2 days per week now, people may think work has jsut gone slack for a bit, but that is not the case (even though they try to tell you that). New drivers are constantly taken on just so they get a bonus, meaning the work gets spread thinner and thinner between drivers. What should be a good organisation to work for has turned in to a shambles!

Pros

Money ok

Cons

False promises of work, lies about the reason for lack of work
