ADR Network Employee Review

Co op birtley 14hr planned shifts.

ADR work on behalf of the co op the birtley hub where I worked class 2 delivery driver job was OK but the hours and shifts are to inconsistent I was promised plenty of work and shifts I've never had more than 3 days a week they plann you 2 runs 14 hrs most of the time always blame co op saying theve cancelled shift when really theve took on to many agency drivers so they've got everything covered but to your downfall not many shifts a week the pay looks attractive but you won't get the shifts to make a descent wage really AVOID this agency.

Pros

If you only want £300 a weeks wage

Cons

Lie to you cancel your shift to juggle others in.

As a temporary driving agency our role is to constantly ensure that our driver supply matches the daily/weekly requirements of our clients. In doing this we regularly check in with our clients to obtain forecasted requirements and base our recruitment activities on the number of drivers needed to fill all of their expected assignments. Sometimes our client’s volumes change and this can be down to the weather, customer buying habits and promotional product changes. We always do our very best to manage expectations and provide accurate information to drivers on the likely amount of work available each week. We can get this wrong when our client does not ask us for the predicted number of drivers needed, and this can be frustrating for all of us. Agency work can have its ups and downs and therefore the more flexible you can be on your work location, the more opportunities we can offer you. Please do get in touch with your local ADR Network office to see if there are other assignments that you would like to be put forward for.

Less rate than other agencies for the same job

What ever your experience, for the first 3 months of an assignment they take a preparatory payment from your wages. This means around £3 per hour less wages. You don't get this money back. It's to help pay for damage or their insurance costs or something else random at your expense.

Pros

None

Cons

Docked wages for no reason

Bad communication keep away

Within this agency the communication is so bad and nobody seems to care. One person in the office says a thing and if you speak to a different one will be something totally different.

I’m sorry to see that you have had a bad experience with ADR Network. If you are receiving differing information locally, I would suggest calling head office on 01582 393535.
Same role

Productive workplace

A typical day at work as a class one driver would involve a delivery and a collection on the way back to the depot. Office staff don't always give full run information unless asked.
