Engineer
Role is self employed engineer. Not proper self employed though just self employed so the company do. It need to pay for pension holidays etc and they can just get rid of you with no notice. They advertise flexible hours which is nonsense basically be prepared to get your jobs the night before and be travelling for four hours to get to your first job. They give no real training and have no qualms in ripping off customers. Staff seemed nice but in reality they are just caring about a quick buck. Not an honest buck. If you want to work weird hours and get the chance to rip off vulnerable people you will fit in brilliantly here.
Cons
Not proper self employed.

Poor experience
Aerial and Satellite Engineer (Former Employee) - Teesside, North Yorkshire - 30 September 2020
Good when the work is busy, very stressful when its quiet as you're earning on completion of jobs, you work miles from home which can disrupt family life
Pros
freedom of movement
Cons
not always good pay, work hours from home.

aerial erector (Former Employee) - Midlands - 24 July 2020
Very bad work/home balance lot of driving with no guaranteed earnings
Poor office attitude difficult to get through
Find any excuse to take money from you
Fuel is paid via cash which Is a pain as they prefer payment via card so always chasing fuel costs Small vans making organising stock Difficult so always having to move stock around

Great managers who helped me progress
TV Engineer (Former Employee) - Preston, Lancashire - 21 November 2019
I started here 6 years ago after the company I had served for 11 years closed overnight. I was given a sub contractor role and was kept busy on the days I made myself available. I loved having control of the days I was willing to work. I left when my relationship ended and I became a stay at home dad
