Home Help in Chichester

Flexible and rewarding
A really rewarding job, working for the elderly and helping them to keep on top of their household work. Shopping and general cleaning, building up a good professional relationship and giving the elderly some regular companionship. Self employed work so completely flexible to your schedule. If I was staying in Chichester I would love to continue working here!

Okay place to work
It was a okay place to work. Staff are all friendly. Flexible if you need time off for appointments. I enjoyed the different shift pattens as and when I was required. I didnt like the fact the people from prison that are nearing the end of there sentence work them to help the re intergrate back into the community.

Supportive and caring environment
String management team. Caring and supportive. My role was a volunteer/ befriender. Therefore no salary but expenses were paid for travel. I enjoyed every minute of it. You are matched with an older person who you visit initially with an experienced and qualified colleague until you gain experience and then you start visiting and supporting on your own. All training and support is ongoing.
