productive and fun
it was really nice meeting some of my now best colleagues at ibis styles Birmingham city center. Overall the hotel was in desperate need of refurbishment .

Worst place ever
It's all about gossip in that place. If they don't like you they'll make you quit no matter what. Horrible management and unprofessional staff. Despite of what my contract said they decided to move me on another department because some random employee didn't like me despite my skills and they did nothing to solve the issue or to give me another solution than moving me to a departmend that is different than what I do. Supervisor has no experience and excluded me and started rumours about me and everyone else in the hotel and no one gave that supervisor a warning or anything, extremely unprofessional. I would never work there again!! Supervisor has a bad mouth and thinks that they own the hotel while lying to everyone including higher-ups ( that of course listen to the biggest, one and only gossiper in the whole hotel). They need to get rid of people if they want people to work there

Staff were great
Management making staff work ridiculous hours and over work them. The manager doesn't know how to run a bath never mind run a hotel. I would avoid this place at all cost as they call you on your days off late at night also to ask you to come in at short notice. SHOCKING!!!!!

Upper management don't know what they are doing, new gm's every other week, poor pay, inexperienced receptionists, huge lack of training, outdated systems, they will employ anybody. Make up their own rules without following protocol.
