RUNNER in Manchester, Greater Manchester
on 26 March 2018
Difficult and exhausting but well paying.
Typically, each day involves dealing with customers and chefs. I have learned many skills whilst working there including how to deal with customer complaints, how to carry multiple plates in a professional fashion and how to talk to people in a way which is not rude or informal whilst still being friendly and talkative. The management was fantastic and efficient when I first began working there however there has been a change in management and the restaurant is no longer at the standard it previously has been. A particular manager is quite rude and inconsiderate however the rest of the staff are very pleasant and hard-working. The hardest thing about the job is spending long hours on your feet in a heated area. I have made many friends since working in the restaurant and I enjoy meeting new people often.
Bartender in Shrewsbury

Fun barstaff, terrible management
Awful management, place is disfunctional, does not understand that working 40-50+ hours all the time finishing at 5am ruins your body and you need a break, overworked and understaffed, unappreciated, rude.
Senior General Manager in Manchester, Greater Manchester
on 16 February 2017
Nice company if you are willing to work 70+hrs
Great private company with great ethos but work life balance is non existent, which is a shame as the position does put management under spotlight. Salary not adequate to position or working hours.
