The only times you'll see management is if they have a go at your shift or you've done something wrong, Otherwise they generally just sit in the office watching videos until YOU finish. That's another point! The owner, in the middle of lockdown, tier 3, global pandemic, Decides to go on holiday to Cyprus. Two days after he gets back has back at work.Professionalism at its finest.
Free coffee/ Tea Etc.
Awful . Clicky and very little training , no support. Office girls the worst I’ve ever known and very lazy . Lasted 6 weeks. I absolutely loved the work but wasn’t able to do it as they made it impossible. Unorganised chaos. Stay away much better places to work . One slight mistake and your out .
They all back stab
I have worked for alliance now for almost 2 years and in this time I have visited a great deal of places all over the UK including Ireland the company have looked after me and also helping me out with the time off I need for my sons appointments at alder Hay
Pay, job security, uk travel, friendly management
Good set of lads to work with in there but..... MANAGEMENT, could write a book on how poorly they run the place, you are spoken to like your at school most of the time, you could be the hardest worker in there but your face needs to fit in with them just to even get a thank you. Those managers need sacking and replacing, I don't think the CEO knows what really happens in there, these are the worst people I have met in my life and in a workplace, best word to describe them is brain dead and selfish!!
Salary is okay?!?
Very bad, no contract, no rights no nothing just bullies who can hardly spell bossing you around there products are very overpriced and they also made people redundant instead of using furlough scheme whilst big boys are millionaires it’s disgusting
Management have no respect for staff. This company doesn’t care about its employees. Got rid of people 1st chance they had instead of using the government’s furlough scheme. Absolutely despicable people.
Decent salary and Monday to Friday hours

working for Alliance is very awfull the general manger is a bully who's underminds staff daily with a lot of threats of sacking. And swering and shouting when your on the call to customers in which the general manger assumes what the customer wants!!!!!! Bonus scheme is only good when the GM likes you. And if he's in a bad mood there be daily remarks of abuse Headoffice needs to look into the running of this depot with a surprise visit the staff doesn't deserve this treating its 2020 not the 80s.
Worked at alliance for just over 6 months and only 2 of the weeks i worked less than 48 hrs my weekly average was 50 hrs. You get sent to different places every day and there is no set routes so you have no chance to get quicker. Some of the drivers who have been there a year plus have set routes and are normally back by midday. You will have to plan your own route and where to park as little to no help is given. You get an email around 19.00 giving you route for the next day if it turns up .... email system goes down quite a lot apparently.. You will be moving anywhere from 50kg to 150kg on a cheap sack borrow from your van to upto a mile depending on where you find parking...
Paid on time
Long hrs . Little to no help...poor routing
