Good work colleagues make work enjoyable.
Get to work for 10am and log on to the majority of packages required for the day. I then go through e-mails filin, discarding the majority then prioritising the rest.
The trackers come next in order of priority to make sure the images are getting to the reporting groups. Correcting patient data and pushing images across. Contacting scanning staff to match and complete work. Chasing reporting groups for reports keeping within time lines.
Any Urgent reports that need to go out when my colleague has left.
Uploading images and requesting images on intelepacs.
Taking phone calls regarding reports and images from referrers.
Sorting queries.

Terrible company
Management non existent on the ground. No back up. Bullying culture. It was a do as I say, not as I do attitude. HR very ineffective and practically non existent.Radiographer in United Kingdom

Soul destroying
Be prepare to lose your HCPC registration on a daily basis. Expect company to attack when everything goes wrong and never get any praise. Under resourced and under skilled. Expect to scan alone or with agency that can't scan but get paid 3 times more than you.Radiographer in Preston, Lancashire

Rubbish company
Once a good company with solid management now spoilt by toxic venture capitalists wringing the highest level of profit out of the business. Head office departments now decimated, morale low, a majority of senior managers have been pushed in the last year. At the sharp end we're worked terribly hard, given little support and are being managed by people that frankly have no idea of the clinical service that we provide. I'd avoid like the plague until the seemingly forthcoming business sale is completed and assess when a new leadership team is in place. What would you say about your employer?
