The most useful review selected by IndeedI do think they should increase the wages from minimum like other security company . 0 contracts is another problem is like you are hanging in balance if they have no work for you you are on your own. For those ones like me who worked for more than 10years on 0 contracts is not good at all.

Nightmare.

Dreadful work life balance.Be prepared to get phone calls on your days off to work extra shifts. They take £100 pound off your final salary if you leave and say it's for training you've had, that's £100 for every site they train you on. Management don't communicate with each other. Bullying tactics used to get you to work extra hours. Moved from site to site and miles away from where you live. Minimum wage on most sites. Quite frankly the worst and most unprofessional company I have ever encountered.

Unlike other interviews I have had in the past with other companies I remember here it was pleasant and straight forward with no doubts after I left interview at office. Basically Alpha do what they say or promise, I get on with all the managers and controllers and compared to other places I worked Alpha is employer i am gonna stick with, my shifts are good and so far Im kinda really impressed. They have really good sites to work on too with friendly client staff.

I always get work near my home, but if I ever get work bit far they actually help you

I've only been with them a couple months, and was given a contract, they continually change the shifts an site given, if you refuse then your basically told either do the chance shifts or loose the full weeks hours, even with a contract of your hours and location, I'd stay well away

Fast paced, plenty of hours available

Worked for Alpha 10 months , on a good site regular hours, overtime if required. Their is variety if required and there are many different sites with transport available if required

Ive been with Alpha Omega for 8 months now and cant fault the hours or shifts given, the management go above and beyond to help when needed and although the training could do with being extended there's always someone available to assist when needed. The staff at HQ are friendly and polite. As with any job there's good days and bad days, overall I would recommend working for Alpha, very good workplace culture

STAY AWAY management dont talk to make things run smoothly and staff get treated like rubbish always taken money off you for god knows what. Need get new management and supervisors.

Bullying Culture

Senior Managers tend to bully staff . a culture of do it or you will lose your position within the company. No opinions allowed. Not willing to learn from mistakes with a culture of fire fighting all tasks and problems. the most enjoyable part of the day is going home.

Unless fortunate to be on a permanent site the shifts are erratic and prone to last minute change, management likely to say one thing but do another, expect to travel long distances with no recompense for cost (especially with many being shorter shifts).

Dont Even Entertain It

Things were ok at first then it goes down bank.
Ideal job if your single, no kids and no social life.
Wages always short.
Deduct money for no apparent reason then you never end up getting it back.
Stupid wage deductions, even if you don't send a text to confirm a shift you get deducted £5.
JUST DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE CLOWNS

Badly run company if you dare cancel a shift you get charged £100 quid this company likes to take every penny off staff for training or missed shifts plus bad management communication over work shifts you get there and another gaurd already working your shift if they cancel shift late notice and no money back for wasting your time avoid avoid avoid

Treat you appallingly, don't pay you properly sometimes, blackmail you with hours and refuse holidays. Sack employees they don't like with made up accusations. Don't go near. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.
