Amk fresh is a good place to work I'm already 2 years with company, good management always helpful, average pay, friendly people, a bit cold 🥶 but depends where you working

One of the best company I am working for they help you and understand everything.I have been there 6 months they look after their staff and always there to help you if you need it

Am fresh is quite a good place to work . The work is generally quite easy but it does go from the extremes of being really busy then very quiet . The managers in the warehouse are generally easy to get on with .

Too many cooks in the kitchen

Management was terrible during my time at AM Fresh. While employed there I only did two out of nine duties stated on the job description. Management were very difficult to communicate with even though they were sat just be side you.

This was the worst job move I ever made. I honestly wish I’d never worked there. It was badly organised, no one cared, when faulty products were made management just overruled and sent them anyway, people got fired for absolutely nothing, the locals ganged up on non-locals, and they used the foreigners as much as possible. Totally miserable job.

Job position/description not telling what is actually waiting for you

PPT Driver (Former Employee) - Peterborough - 7 February 2022

Overall good company to work for altough in the job description does't tell you that as a "ppt driver" you are supposed to lift and stack over head height heavy crates(+10kg) 10 out of 12 hours every shift.

Hight expectations from lower chain employees without a fully organised structure within the business. Lack of “hard hand” in a particular areas. Overtime culture on the production floor.

Positive work place

This workplace is supportive and provides so many opportunities for progression. Managers are super supportive too. My colleagues are lovely and the day is never the same. It is such a great environment.

Poor senior management

Some very nice people at shopfloor level however management will do anything for self progression this includes putting workers down and stopping the workers development. Senior management were terrible with a attitude of just get the product out the door, turning blind eye to things if it enables the product to leave on time

Company can be great workplace but not with that management

Really nice people working on production. Some of good potential is just wasted because management is not able to lead people. Lot of friends and colleagues on management level not helping company. Most of senior leaders making lot of statements that they are people orientated but in reality really poor people skills.

Dysfunctional internal communication

Dysfunctional internal communication and a blame culture. Some nice people but the hours are long for an underpaid role. Good for experience and then move on to fresher pastures. Lower office ranks afraid to speak out to upper office ranks and some notable bullies.

Stressful not a good place to work and management is a joke basically. Have a look around and see for yourself. Keep your nerves together though as it’s easy to lose them.

Busy environment, lovely people but could be better

Generally a nice place to work, modern facilities and great location. Senior Management/Leadership need to be more open to suggestions and change, some of the basics do fall down due to lack of accountability. The turnover of staff is high in operational areas and behaviours on the 'shop-floor' are questionable. Recruitment team try hard but have ineffective management/leadership.

Parking and machine op ok if pay more

Work is fairly easy but you need to be flexible with hours and amount jobs you do .You get 2 half hour brake that are unpaid.You will sometimes work late to finish job .Yeh pay is very low and you don’t get rewarded for learning more jobs so stic with one job If you decent pay don’t work hear but if you happy with min wage then it ok to work hear

I enjoy working at this company. Despite being brokered by the agency, all leaders and managers are very polite and respectful. It has an excellent physical and organizational structure.

Great place to work!

Even though I haven't been with the company long I was made to feel a part of the team from day one. It's a great environment where everyone is accepting and friendly. The work atmosphere is one I would recommend to anyone as it's so encouraging and enthusiastic! After suffering for many years in many other companies that had poor work ethic for employees and not caring about health and well being it was incredibly refreshing to come and be a part of the AM Fresh team, they are nothing but supportive and will go out of their way to make you feel accepted, lifting you within your role! The company is so passionate to drive hard work it's so rewarding to work as a team and feel the benefits as a team. I can't recommend the company enough!

Only been working at AMK fresh at Peterborough for just over 3 months now but already feel part of the family, I say family as this is how everyone is treated irrespective of job title or position so if you are fed up working for a company where you are just a number I would without hesitation recommend you give AMK fresh recruitment team a call.
