I applied at Amazon UK for a position as a Fulfilment Associate. Its been almost 3 weeks and I havent heard back besides that email you get when you apply. How long will it take? And are my chances to get hired low if im 19 years old with no actual paid working experience?

I was hired, told I could hand my notice in my current job to start and waited over 3 weeks for a start date, so I withdrew my application when I got another job, left me out of pocket for a month, very bad HR for a big company.

No sometimes you need to possess the right skills required to be considered as quickly as possible.

The agencies cannot place people with Amazon until they get the go ahead from Amazon. This can takes from days to weeks. Regarding age and experience, on that front they are very good and will start people of all age groups and backgrounds. It is up to you, and your performance, to make it work for you.

You don't need experience. They take on literally anyone. I was called a day after applying. Maybe they aren't hiring at the moment? When they do, they will hire loads of you.
