Hard work but good pay
Delivery Driver (Current Employee) - Plymouth, Devon - 14 October 2023
As a 19 year old getting £115-£130 a day isn't bad, company I'm with are quite friendly and understanding however its a big work load and you're constantly rushing for about 10 hours streight with minimal time for breaks. Consumes your whole day as I leave my house at 10am and get home at 9.30 pm. Doing a couple days a week whilst at uni is good for me but very physically demanding

Consistent work but low pay
Delivery Driver (Former Employee) - Banbury, Oxfordshire - 28 August 2023
The best thing about Amazon is that they ALWAYS have work, other than that though, the hours can be long and you’re technically not paid for all the time collecting the van, waiting in line, loading packages or returning to the depot so the money can end up working out less than minimum wage PLUS you’re self employed. Great if you have absolutely nothing else but not one to do if you have other options

Demanding role for not very exciting pay
Delivery Driver (Former Employee) - Oxfordshire - 14 August 2023
You are expected to carry out a lot of deliveries each day for quite a rubbish amount of money. They recruit heavily during the Christmas period when they give higher rates of pay and then drop the amount once the new year is in. Good if you want to work on your own and don't mind jumping in and out of the van at least 100 times per day.
