co workers that have never worked anywhere else dont realise how great Amey is
typical day would involve lorry checks, works briefing, loading work onto a PDA.drive to first job and then carry on etc.so many of the staff spend all day banging on about the good ol council days when they would get paid for doing the least amount of work.you can see the frustration in the supervisors trying to get staff to do a job that they are paid (and paid well) to do.old staff always moan about managers but if you just get on with your work they are fine.staff seem to moan but they are the ones that have never worked in any other work environment and if they did they wouldnt last 5 minutes. if Amey got rid of the dead wood they would see a vast improvement in production.i would highly recommend working for Amey as long as you dont get drawn into the old workers mentality

they are REJECTING candidates even if you fit to the position and have years of relevant experience. They require documents, cover letters, and answer for questions but no one care about your application

Good,friendly company to work for
I started working for amey after a bad experience with bulloughs cleaning.I went to amey thinking it would be similar after my old manager said my new place was awful to work for.How wrong was she.My new manager is nice and helpful and everyone is so friendly.I actually don't mind going to work.Ive met some good friends there. Can honestly say not one person is awful and definitely not misserable like the bulloughs lot.

Great place to work.
You manage your workload from day to day. We are expected to work across many platforms on a daily basis and travel around to other sites. it's a relaxed environment so you don't have to were a tie and the working hours are flexible. No day was the same, working as an IT engineer you are expected to resolve issues and can be from server to smartboard issue. So every day was a challenge.
