No support from management
On the whole Amey is a great FM company to work for its the management that put up hurdles and drain the life out of you. You dont get any support from your line manager hed rather bury his head in the sand.
Assistant Facilities Manager, in Crawley, West Sussex
Caring and collaborative environment
The team at Amey are very supportive and cooperative with each other. You know what is expected of you and are treated fairly and well. It’s a busy company to work for and always plenty to do but never feel swamped as help is always at hand. The management is very good and keeps abreast of what’s going on and are as transparent as you would expect.

Really good place to work
Having spent the last 15 years doing 12-15 hour shifts, working an 8 hour shift was a doddle, management fair and supervisors great as well.the only people I found that moaned about the company where the ones that was always late, always finding excuses to get out of work, always off sick etc etc if they worked at any other company they wouldn't last 5 minutes

Site engineers are brilliant, good bunch of friends
In the HMP establishment where I was working, the work team was brilliant very friendly and helpful. It was a real team environment. The environment was a safe place to work even thou you were in a prison environment. Its good pay for the work load you do for it.Management are only interested in making themselves look good and not caring about the work force in general
