- Sense of belonging
- Fair pay for job
It totally depends on the team, if you all gel well and can have a laugh then its ptetty good. Suits competitive people.
Sales Assistant (Former Employee) - Sheffield - 2 September 2023
It totally depends on the team, if you all gel well and can have a laugh then its ptetty good. Suits competitive people it can be boring and repetitive work if you are cold calling. Doing the brand ambassador/ lead generation in pairs where you interact with the public can be fun. Again it depends on the team and your management, we had a great time. The monthly meetings at i forget where were fun, great bonuses for top sellers

Steer clear..
Sales consultant (Former Employee) - south east - 23 August 2023
Over priced products that are already available on the market at a much lower cost. Commission based only so no basic pay. Could go for weeks or months with no pay. Managers favourites will get all of the hot opportunities. The company will close a deal that you have pitched for hours on end at much lower cost so they will hit their target and receive a bonus.. You will end up with nothing!. Company has a magic eye system allowing to come down between 40-50% on final price and still make 100% profit. Corrupt company in every way and I'm ashamed to have served time there. Customers are ripped off on a regular basis.
Pros
No pros whatsoever
Cons
use your own car, own fuel, evening and weekend work..commission based only. Weak leads, corrupt managers.

Solitary and Unmotivating

Fun job, poor pay.
Sales Rep (Former Employee) - Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire - 13 July 2023
Its a great experience to work there with the freedom your given and I enjoyed spending time on the job with my team. However the pay is really poor, sliding scale commission is a scam for sales reps sometimes selling 10k jobs for £80 commission, you need to be really really good at your job with perfect leads if you want to make good money, if the customer doesn't buy on the day they will walk away so its very pressurized with old sales tactics. Also still owed a £250 bonus which has been ignored.

Do not work here
Remote sales representative (Former Employee) - Bridgend, Bridgend - 11 July 2023
Would advise anyone concidering getting a job here to steer well away with horrible conditions and even worse pay during intial interview they well hint at 10 leads per week and a 3 in 10 conversion rate ALWAYS ASK ABOUT THE SLIDING SCALE if you have to drop anything you coukd lose thousands on your commison horrible company full of lies an average remote sales rep would be lucky to get 4k a year yes a year and a door to door lucky to get 30k would advice well away
Pros
Discount
Cons
Terrible pay horrible environment

Good Pay and Bonus
Sales Representative (Current Employee) - Swansea - 13 May 2023
If you put 100% you will get 100%. Long work hours but you are self employee so you can say no. There is a lot of technical training, my manager is pretty good. We have a small team and everyone know everyone and everyone is very helpful.
Pros
Lots of training and good bonus if you hit the target
Cons
Can't think of any

Good for existing staff, bad for new starters
Sales Rep (Former Employee) - South East - 10 April 2023
As a new sales rep for Anglian Home Improvements you are given the lowest value leads for months in order to prove you can sell before they even consider giving you anything better. While the people who have been there for years are given the pick of the leads and can earn good money, trying to make a decent living from the scraps that are left for new starters is virtually impossible. Leads are issued the day before and as you are officially self employed you have to be available every day for the leads unless you book time off which is just as hard as any employed job. You might have none, more often one, then two and in 6 months Ive had more than 2 only once or twice. With a target of a 20% conversion rate and the average commission for these low value leads being under £100 its hard to make even minimum wage. If you turn down leads you are punished by having leads withheld going forward. You also have to do meetings and training which are unpaid and a working day can be anything from 0-13 hours long to get everything done they expect of you.
Pros
Have some free time most day
Cons
Can be long days and low pay for time worked as new starter

Half bad half good
Foot Canvasser (Former Employee) - Newport, Newport - 6 March 2023
All the company cares about is hitting targets and pressuring people into having a quote. They give fake discounts constantly. They've come up with different strategies to convince people they need new windows. Long hours in places you don't know. Good thing is you seem to always have a good team and have good laughs
