Indeed featured review

The most useful review selected by Indeed
Yeah your just a number at that place, no support for the fitting teams and the administration, Management changes as often as clothes and the right hand never knows what the left-hand is doing totally chaos

Good Pay and Bonus

If you put 100% you will get 100%. Long work hours but you are self employee so you can say no. There is a lot of technical training, my manager is pretty good. We have a small team and everyone know everyone and everyone is very helpful.

Pros

Lots of training and good bonus if you hit the target

Cons

Can't think of any

Good for existing staff, bad for new starters

As a new sales rep for Anglian Home Improvements you are given the lowest value leads for months in order to prove you can sell before they even consider giving you anything better. While the people who have been there for years are given the pick of the leads and can earn good money, trying to make a decent living from the scraps that are left for new starters is virtually impossible. Leads are issued the day before and as you are officially self employed you have to be available every day for the leads unless you book time off which is just as hard as any employed job. You might have none, more often one, then two and in 6 months Ive had more than 2 only once or twice. With a target of a 20% conversion rate and the average commission for these low value leads being under £100 its hard to make even minimum wage. If you turn down leads you are punished by having leads withheld going forward. You also have to do meetings and training which are unpaid and a working day can be anything from 0-13 hours long to get everything done they expect of you.

Pros

Have some free time most day

Cons

Can be long days and low pay for time worked as new starter

Hard working gets you noticed, love the the hours and hourly rate. Would recommend you apply Aston as it happens. Free tools free time you are able to you your brain .

Half bad half good

All the company cares about is hitting targets and pressuring people into having a quote. They give fake discounts constantly. They've come up with different strategies to convince people they need new windows. Long hours in places you don't know. Good thing is you seem to always have a good team and have good laughs

Lovely colleagues

The staff were all great to work with, it was a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I learnt a lot whilst working there. I would recommend to people that need a part time flexible job.

Terrible Company

Awful company to work for . Drill you into the ground and do not have a care in the world for the customer . Shame as product good . Only Interest is to make sure the money comes in

Not good to work for.

Management tell you that you will earn 9% of each appt made but it’s only 7% I started out as a foot can then was promoted to team leader. They will tell you anything to get you sucked in but never deliver the promises they say. Also took me ages to get my bonus from them.

I enjoyed it working there

You have to put the hours in to make your money hard going but its rewarding they also will help you buy tools that you may require and you don't pay for any fuel

Pros

Buy your own

Cons

Hard going but it's rewarding

Atrocious Employer, possibly the worst!

I have never as an employee been treated like this by anyone. Constant struggles with either not getting any appointments or having minimal time to prepare for an appointment. A team leader who knows nothing and tells you to work it out when you ask for information or support. And now, ignoring my calls and texts. Left me hanging with two kids to support.

Non productive place to work

The company is a waste of your time/money for very little earnings. It is a self employed role and the management is useless and cannot even run a circus

Superb company. Excellent support and commission is fantastic.

As above all round a great employer. In my second year now and loving it. My manager is supportive and I control the hours that I work. Top company.

Pros

Training is thorough and ongoing. Salary.

Cons

Evening work.
