Older company, hard to work for. Commission based. Team environment but hard to work. High turn over. Zero hour contract. No sick pay. Target hit or no pay

well paid for hard work

Self employed, commission only, The more you work the more you can earn. 12 hour days and 7 days a week are necessary to earn the big money. Lots of driving at your own expense. Great incentives and bonusses if you are good

boring & dull

I wouldn't recommend anyone to work for Anglian home improvements because door to door knocking isn't the most enjoyable but the only few benefits are learning skills such as having an introduction to pitch to potential customers and establishing their needs, qualifying their needs and closing deals to arrange appointments as an marketing agent. To make sales for the company.

Fun place to work high turnover

Friendly environment good people to work with does suffer from high turnover due to stress, but can pay well. management are knowledable and care a lot for their teams

You will have mental health problems if you work here.

Under no circumstances work here. You will end up having a breakdown. You are better off cleaning. All this company care about is profits and they will employ anyone. Would not recommend to anyone. All pay is entirely commission based

Great

Made a mistake by leaving this company to try and per-sue a different career path which was the wrong decision at the time, there were some fantastic people involved and I highly miss it.

fun work place

i think anglian home improvements is a good company to work for but the pay you can earn to the hours you put in isnt good, the people there are really nice and friendly

Wouldn't bother

looking to earn a decent wage? I wouldn't bother. They will tell you what you want to hear to get you in but most of it is rubbish. minimal training. Staff turnover is absolutely shocking. I found that once I showed signs of wanting to leave, one of the managers who was very friendly with me then became quite thuggish and threatening. Not the kind of company you want to associate with.

Okay

Anglian home improvements pays very well, and everyone was so lovely and supportive apart from management! The 2 biggest down falls was management and not having the security off your job which wasn’t good

Absolute shambles

No one knows what they are doing so poorly run ,rubbish pay they steal your sales and give them to the favourite people unless you are just looking for something to do with your time stay away seriously

awful place to work

no management support, no help for customers, customer service is horrific. no one wants to take responsibility for their actions and it really does make my life harder

Poor wages

Poor wages and a horrible manager who screams at colleagues if they don’t get leads. Only get paid for leads that are worked and the database of clients is low

Well deserved

A excellent company to work for and we'll respected they give you a free van and free diesel you work fourteen days on and get 3days off I would recommend it to most people who are in the window industry

very productive and happy work place

Load the van at the depot learn whats going to be happing that day as self employed management were all great people from every region, happy workforce good banter hardest part of my job = working with my dad most enjoyable part about my job was seeing different scenery

loading vehicles with heavy items, dealing with customers,

very early starts in the morning to get to warehouse and load are days work. I got a n.v.q in window fitting and also completed asbestos awareness course. I must say the management could of been better. but as was self employment we was working for ourselves. we had a good environment at work and made some good freinds.

Good place to work but the pay check fluctuates which is confusing

Good place to work for a summer job and get basic skills in this workplace and very friendly people but the pay checks are never the same and it confused me a lot

High turnover of employees

Senior management a joke very unsupportive always making rash decisions which ultimately lead to job loses, staff retention very poor and staff training is non existent please avoid at all costs

Decent

• Excelled in pitching products to customers, thus gained leads. • Enticed and convinced customers on the new deals and offers. • Shadowed experienced colleagues to improve pitch.

Cons

long hours and if you do not get a pitch you will not be paid

No job security

They change your job role with no warning and no training provided. The job I started with wasn't the same as the job I left. Very high staff turnover. Confusing, unhelpful and often rude.

Good environment workplace

This Workplace gave me the skills of being independent. Plus, gave me the skills of facing customers and trying to persuade them to sign up to the business i was working for.

Horrid place to work

There is no basic salary. No money at all in it. They give you £50 for the first 2 weeks to 'help you' which wasn't even enough for my fuel to get to work. Only good thing was the people you work with and even ten it's hit and miss. If you're looking for something to do that is mind-numbingly boring and not get paid for any work that you do then best of luck. there are so many better sales and marketing jobs out there. 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND
