well paid for hard work
Sales Representative (Former Employee) - UK - 8 March 2020
Self employed, commission only, The more you work the more you can earn. 12 hour days and 7 days a week are necessary to earn the big money. Lots of driving at your own expense. Great incentives and bonusses if you are good

Insights into Anglian Home Improvements
Areas for improvement
- Trust in colleagues
- Sense of belonging
- Fair pay for job
boring & dull
Marketing sub team leader (Former Employee) - London - 16 January 2020
I wouldn't recommend anyone to work for Anglian home improvements because door to door knocking isn't the most enjoyable but the only few benefits are learning skills such as having an introduction to pitch to potential customers and establishing their needs, qualifying their needs and closing deals to arrange appointments as an marketing agent. To make sales for the company.

You will have mental health problems if you work here.
Canvasser (Former Employee) - UK - 12 January 2020
Under no circumstances work here. You will end up having a breakdown. You are better off cleaning. All this company care about is profits and they will employ anyone.
Would not recommend to anyone. All pay is entirely commission based

Great
Installations field manager (Former Employee) - Wakefield - 6 January 2020
Made a mistake by leaving this company to try and per-sue a different career path which was the wrong decision at the time, there were some fantastic people involved and I highly miss it.

Wouldn't bother
Canvasser (Former Employee) - Nottingham - 29 December 2019
looking to earn a decent wage? I wouldn't bother. They will tell you what you want to hear to get you in but most of it is rubbish. minimal training. Staff turnover is absolutely shocking. I found that once I showed signs of wanting to leave, one of the managers who was very friendly with me then became quite thuggish and threatening. Not the kind of company you want to associate with.

Okay
Call Centre Agent (Former Employee) - Norwich - 20 December 2019
Anglian home improvements pays very well, and everyone was so lovely and supportive apart from management! The 2 biggest down falls was management and not having the security off your job which wasn’t good

Poor wages
Sales and Marketing (Current Employee) - Waltham c - 8 December 2019
Poor wages and a horrible manager who screams at colleagues if they don’t get leads. Only get paid for leads that are worked and the database of clients is low

loading vehicles with heavy items, dealing with customers,
Window Fitter (Former Employee) - Basingstoke, Hampshire - 20 November 2019
very early starts in the morning to get to warehouse and load are days work. I got a n.v.q in window fitting and also completed asbestos awareness course. I must say the management could of been better. but as was self employment we was working for ourselves. we had a good environment at work and made some good freinds.

Decent

No job security
Administration Co-ordinator (Former Employee) - Fareham, Hampshire - 14 October 2019
They change your job role with no warning and no training provided. The job I started with wasn't the same as the job I left. Very high staff turnover. Confusing, unhelpful and often rude.

Good environment workplace
Customer Service Assistant (Former Employee) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire - 10 October 2019
This Workplace gave me the skills of being independent. Plus, gave me the skills of facing customers and trying to persuade them to sign up to the business i was working for.

Horrid place to work
Marketing agent (Former Employee) - Truro, Cornwall - 7 October 2019
There is no basic salary.
No money at all in it.
They give you £50 for the first 2 weeks to 'help you' which wasn't even enough for my fuel to get to work.
Only good thing was the people you work with and even ten it's hit and miss.
If you're looking for something to do that is mind-numbingly boring and not get paid for any work that you do then best of luck.
there are so many better sales and marketing jobs out there.
