About Apollo Home Healthcare
Apollo Home Healthcare is a national provider of high quality complex care services delivered in our service user’s own homes. We recruit experienced Care Assistants, Support Workers and Nurses to deliver our care services. What makes us different is that we assign our care staff one service user to work with in the long term. This allows the opportunity –
Apollo Home Healthcare recruit Nurses, experienced Healthcare Assistants, Support Workers and Nursery Nurses to provide complex care in the home of our service users. We work in partnership with Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG’s), case managers and solicitors to deliver complex packages of care that are developed to the exacting needs of our service users. The service users that we work with can have long-term, life-limiting conditions which means they require a care team indefinitely, and we work hard to build close relationships with those clients and their families as we understand the importance that we play in their lives. We also have the privilege of caring for individuals who are living out their final days and we have a vast amount of experience in dealing with the emotional challenges that this presents. Whether the package of care we deliver is on a long or short-term basis, we are committed to providing only the very best care staff whose focus is on ensuring that the clients they work with have the best quality of life.
Care Assistants and Support Workers
We recruit Care Assistants who have at least 6 months previous care experience to deliver expert levels of care in our service user's homes. Whilst we require our Care Assistants to have previous care experience before joining us, we do provide extensive training on the complex needs of our service users, therefore a career with Apollo Home Healthcare provides an excellent opportunity to up-skill into complex care. Our Care Assistants are assigned a service user to work with in the long term, delivering person-centred 1:1 or 2:1 care to the highest standards.
Our service users with more highly complex care needs often require a Registered Nurse in their home to oversee their care. This can include managing the care teams and ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered at all times. We recruit Registered Nurses to oversee our care packages as well for bank work and also permanent positions within our offices.
As a lot of our service users are children and young people, we fully appreciate the skills and experience that Nursery Nurses are able to bring to our care packages. We provide comprehensive training programmes that provide Nursery Nurses with the opportunity to up-skill into a complex care position, working with children who have life-limiting conditions. Whilst our children and young people require high levels of care, they also require a lot of play time, ensuring that they have the opportunity to enjoy the things that every other child of their age gets to experience. Sensory play, day trips to the park, playing on a computer and playing with their favourite toys often form part of the day to day routine of our young service users.
