It was a decent christmas placement kept me busy and was good shifts. I liked the people there and i was quite happy till my contract ended. I liked the staff and had fun organising the shop.
When I worked at Argos, if you’re in the till they nag you constantly to basically force people to buy product insurance and to apply for an Argos card. Would have a go at you if you never managed to get either of those
Loved working here at greenmount..all the jobs I've done before this was the best by a mile fantastic staff and management also not a stressful job ...also let me work Fri till Monday so I had Tues weds Thurs off
Underpaid, told to go to a food bank instead of sorting the payment issue out. Store manager was awful and didn’t care about anything other than store performance, therefore staff were just numbers.
If I could give zero stars, I would. The management are useless and completely thick. Sometimes they accuse you of their mistakes and try to cover up for their own faults. They don’t train you properly and they don’t give you any support. They expect you to know everything on your first day. Furthermore, management seem to wander off outside of the store to do shopping and/or go for a cigarette. A few of your colleagues grass on you to the management when you make a few mistakes. The mistakes you don’t make, they seem to make them up and claim you made mistakes but there’s no evidence of that.
