This company absolutely beggars belief, from the massive divide between departments who all fight each other and make your job downright difficult and almost impossible sometimes, to the blame everyone else management culture constantly rolling the Blame downhill,You will be asked your thoughts and opinions, you will be asked to contribute your ideas but they will only be ignored , it’s all futile and for show,Westbury a new jewel in the Arla crown ..... a polished dump, in all honesty!, a reload area with poor drainage, no power , no water and a locked toilet because it was plumbed into the vehicle wash. Yet another joke it has to be said, don’t for god sakes press that green button unless you want to stink to high heaven with contaminated wash water .Don’t worry about your route it changes hourly, routes are run blind, poorly planned and always chaotic, pay is poor way behind the local area and your just a number .Your a second rate employee, not allowed in staff canteens and expected to work for the love of the job with unreliable poor equipment in terrible conditions.
Long hours, poor pay, inflexible
If you are a newly passed driver or a semi- retired driver then a good place to work. But if not then i would not recommend working for arla foods in particular if you are not from either Romania or Poland. The transport office staff have not got a clue. Its a case of always passing the buck when a driver asked them anything like parking, health& safety, truck defects etc. And a word to any new driver is watch your back at all times. The transport management can not be trusted at all. Get everything in writing and photocopied. Other than that you will love it. .
cheap dairy products, Good first job if a new driver to learn at
transport office managers, staff
Company as no respect for employees. Unless your face fits. More agencies in arla than employees say no more, cant speak for the office staff only on the driving side and warehouse. As an new employee as different wage structure than older alra staff. That can't be right when all going the same working.

Worked here for long time. good place friends and management made redundant offered job in Leeds or London to far to go. Delivered milk to supermarkets. The hardest part of this job was mostly the winter weather. The most enjoyable part was meeting different people.

Sold down the river without even a THANKYOU
A good company to work for as they are cooperative which brings with that a more closely working relationship between the workforce and management, because we all have the same goals,to make the company as successful as possible.
