No work life balance 1 week you will be doing a 5am start the next week 4pm start. Your hours consistently change and your days off tooToilet facilities are terrible at some route ends

Careless employer
I consider myself to be professional and very good at what I did with this company, yet after working for Arriva for many years in a supervisory role and driver I was treated with contempt by poor senior management and middle management, there was no give in terms of family requirements and long hours with difficult shifts, this all lead to poor mental and physical health. it’s about time companies like this realised that passengers are important and staff also, demanding, controlling, awful profiteering should not exist in this industry.

Don't apply if you want a life
Pros:Decent pay if you've been employed with them a long time.Cons:Laughable starting rate of pay.Terrible shift patterns, you never start or finish at the same time anyday of the week. Often less than 10 hours between finishing and starting the next shift. You're just a number, management will leave you alone if you can do the job but don't expect any praise or support from them.Expect abuse and/or complaints from the public everyday.

Bus Driver in Oswestry

Terrible place to work. No work life balance, you will be in work for up to twelve hours per day and you’ll be driving for up to ten. During those hours you’ll be dealing with drunk and Abusive passengers and no respect from other road users. You’ll feel degraded and mentally drained driving to and from the same place all day and every day.
