Teams were left to get on with the tasks and from my point of view as long as the trains departed the management weren't concerned but if the slightest thing went wrong they would be all over the team. The blame culture lives
Arriva traincare is a well paid job for working on day shifts. Great for home life finishing early 14:30 with a 6:00 start. Work fairly easy and shop floor people great to work with but management hard to get information quick enough
team leaders role dealing with production day in day out negotiating with clients.
job runs smooth, dealing with problems and then resolving the problems with solutions
If you are a MECHANICAL fitter this isn't the job for you. The work is very basic I.e ripping train carriages to pecies letting someone put a floor in then you put all the old stuff back in. Basically labour's work. There is not one bit of mechanical work what so ever.
So if your looking for a job which requires no thinking then work here
very busy, I have learned more about the business over the last two years. You are always adding more to your roll each week, friendly work environment, a very helpful manager who will offer support.
