Arup is an amazing firm to work for if you want high paced delivery, interesting and complex project work and excellent employee benefits. The flat structure is great if you want to put yourself forward for challenges, but it can lead to slightly reduced ability to make quick decisions

The work life balance is amazing good work environment and lovely people. Everyone was ridiculously friendly to the point in is unsettling. Only issue is work load was quite hard to manage at points. But all in all great experience.

Inspiring, friendly and forward thinking workplace

Completed a 6-week summer placement after my second year of civil engineering at university. Worked in the structures team who were very helpful and friendly making me part of the team. Learnt alot of practical and industrial skills which is different to academic learning which i loved. Would recommend.
