An absolute shambles! I applied online completing a multiple-choice questionnaire. A few days later, I received a call telling me to attend a group interview at Asda Oadby, Leicester. I arrived at the store and waited around with the other applicants. We were eventually met by an Asda worker and took to an aisle where we were told to put stock out. Everyone still had their coats on and those who had handbags had to leave them on the floor as they filled the shelves. About three safety knives were handed out to open the boxes; however, there were eight people in the group. After twenty minutes of this, we were took upstairs to an office where our passports were photocopied and that was it. Nobody in the group was asked any questions whatsoever! Just put stock out and photocopy our passports! Those who worked in the store were totally unprepared to receive the job applicants!

You submit an online application and you might then be asked to attend an 'interview.' however you will not be interviewed. They will just tell you to do some shelf stacking for half an hour. They will pretend they are going to give you the job by asking about the hours you are able to work. It is a lottery who they choose as a successful candidate. It certainly has nothing to do with skills or intelligence.
