Turn down a job and see what happens :)
Driver (Current Employee) - London, Greater London - 9 September 2023
Turn down some jobs and see if you going to stay there anymore, they give you jobs that dont worth sending there vans if you want to be a cleaner in the company go ahead and be one , i have seen 1200 payments but 400 pound petrol cost that week doing crazy hours , most of the time your going for jobs where its hour away from you and you get forced to do jobs they will act all sweet till you turn down the job most of the time your going to say yeh go ahead and send the job in because your thinking your helping them but actually think twice because why dont they send there van there because its not going be worth it so you coupd go and do it just a cleaner when there own vans and employees dont want to cover most things youll end up doing them so dont be thinking you’re a team member no you are not one of them anyways join and see after 2 months you’re going to regret it i rather do dpd or amazon rather then working for this cold hearted people

Have worked with Atlas for a few years now, they've been great for providing good work and have always been very accommodating with taking time off for personal reasons. Money is good so long as you're prepared to put the time in. Perfect job for a hard worker if you ask me

Good people to work for. Would recommend
Van Driver (Former Employee) - Thurrock, Essex - 31 May 2022
Good company to work with for sameday work. Lots of work going around the UK and flexible working hours which means I can schedule work around my life. Office staff are nice and always helpful if you ever run into issues on a job. Have since retired due to poor health, but I would have been happy to continue working with them.
Pros
Lots of work, nice staff
Cons
Can be long days, depending on how far you go

Good company to work with
Delivery Van Driver (Current Employee) - Dartford, Kent - 23 May 2022
I've been working with Atlas for 3 years now and they've been great to work for. Always in communication with me and always work with me to make sure I can get as much work as possible. Very easy to have time off, just need to let them know in advance but they've been very accommodating of last minute emergencies as well. Would strongly recommend working with Atlas.
Pros
Good workload, fun job, nice people to work with
Cons
Can be some waiting time at collections and deliveries but you get paid extra for that

Great place to work
Courier Driver (Current Employee) - Chelmsford, Essex - 27 April 2022
Great company to work for. I love being able to earn money driving up and down the UK and the management team always make sure to keep you as busy as they can. There can be less busy days but the busy days even the workload out meaning I don't find myself short for money. Can be as flexible as you need it to so long as you make sure to plan ahead and they are always understanding of last minute plan changes.

Not worth it at all
Courier Driver (Former Employee) - Unknown - 26 April 2022
They go through drivers like muck through a duck. The cost of your van, Insurance, servicing and upkeep, the cost of accountants, invoicing and such you need to turn over at least £60k to earn £30k, no holiday or sick pay, expected to work every bank holiday and be available over the xmas period. You'd need to make £1500 a week the reality is £600 if your lucky, Drivers take all the risk and they take all the reward. the owners all drive 50k motors while the drivers run around in barley legal vans, not their fault they are pushed until they either give up or go under, doesn't matter to them there's drivers lined up for years. JUST DONT BOTHER WITH ATLAS if you want fair and decent paid work.

Good place to work, good pay.
Worked there for many years. Always honest with you, make sure you are honest back. Tell them when you're available and when you can't work but not at the last moment. So works well if you only want to do so many days a week. They will look after you. Just think if you were a plumber and told your customer on the day I'm not coming they're not going to hire you. There is always lots of work.
Pros
Always busy
Cons
Always busy

Worked to exhaustion for peanuts and terrible management/planners
Driver (Former Employee) - Essex - 14 August 2020
This is a company with little respect or care for their drivers, reflected by a constant revolving door of people starting and leaving. The vehicles are nothing short of awful. Communication with planners and office staff is appalling at the best of times. Expect to be regularly prostituted out to local pallet network companies that treat you like an agency day driver, worked to exhaustion around Central London and the South East for 14hrs a day earning peanuts. Night out work was tolerable as it generally required less communication with what can only be described as clueless and mostly rude people on the other end of a phone twenty times a day, but still hard graft and maxing out 13/15hrs a day, four days a week for less than 10hrs pay across entire UK and EU, in a fleet spec vehicle with no fridge, air con etc. Not acceptable this day and age IMO.
Pros
Varied work, gained experience.
Cons
Pay, Workload, Planning, Vehicles

Working for free
Driver (Former Employee) - Wickford, Essex - 18 May 2020
Some jobs doesn’t even cover your diesel , but they don’t care . Some morning you will receive a call to go 70 miles to do a 10 miles job then no one from the office will answer your calls anymore . If you do the mistake to argue with anyone from transport , better find another job ASAP . I don’t recommend to anyone to work in this place . It’s a family business and only their friends or family gets the nice jobs , you will get the small ones

Don’t work with them
Privet Courier (Former Employee) - London, Greater London - 23 December 2019
This company is very bad like service which they provide to the clients. They don’t respect the drivers and they paid absolutely silly money which you can cover only the fuel.I was work for them like 3 months and this is was the worst company which I’m been working for.
They will promised that they will pay good money, but actually they didn’t do it.
Please don’t work for them if you don’t want to make more problems for yourself.
