Hotel work can be stressful, that's just the nature of the job...having said that we do have fun and as a company Atlas are so engaging with their employees. They don't just manage people, they do actually care about our wellbeing. Working during the pandemic has been difficult, but there are so many positives to have come out of it. Atlas have worked so hard to make sure that the teams and guests are safe. Communication from the Operations Team has been key; even down to the CEO emailing ALL employees every week with an update. Not many CEOs would do that.The most enjoyable thing about the job - working with the general public! The hardest part of the job - working with the general public! There is no such thing as a 'typical' day when you work in a hotel; no two days are ever the same...and that in itself is a good thing.I would certainly recommend Atlas as an Employer; whether you're looking to be a front line member of staff, a member of the management team or even in a central role. We are one team irrespective of role or location - and for a company with 50 hotels and LOTS of employees that's pretty great!

I have now worked for atlas hotel group for more than one year and the potential shown by the atlas values they strongly portray have exceeded my expectations and taught me a lot in how to be part of a team. As a person working for Atlas I have grown as a person and very confident in tasks that we have to do.The tasks isn't just being on reception and checking in guests. It ranges from completing day to day tasks which are essential for a hotel to run, I.e. cook and cleaning to maintenance jobs, i.e. changing air con filters.Working for atlas as a whole is very beneficial as the pay is more than the minimum wage, there are a few employee benefits and very flexible for time off needed as long as you let them know in advance.The HOM & COM in another words the Area and Hotel Manager are always there to help whenever needs be, whether that being something related outside of work. They always take the time out and invest in their staff. Overall Atlas is a reputable company to work for and have numerous of other job opportunities within the company to maybe change roles or even being promoted.

Working for Atlas is always a pleasure. No day is ever the same and it's always nice to meet new people and see regular guests. But it's more than just reception work, there's always something to keep you busy meaning there's never a dull moment. The team you work with become family and its nice to have a workplace where you know everyone can be relied upon. Management are always supportive doing their best to provide training to help further your skills and will always do their best to provide flexibility in the rota when planning days off; it's always important to have a work-life balance.

Our HOM and COM are always there for us throughout a very difficult pandemic period.Our team are really starting to gel and I enjoy going to work.Good to see tighter management of poor performance - the levels of expectation have improved so much.
