Very supportive
I joined A&S Police during the lockdown and it was the best things I have done. All staff members are friendly and inclusive. I first thought working independently from home, I would struggle, however, that was far from the case. My superiors are amazing. They are supportive, for both my personal and professional life. A&S are advocates for progressing yourself! There is so much support with wanting to profess in the force. I highly recommend Avon and Somerset Constabulary as employers. Crown servant in Bristol

Difficult job.
Job very varied, shift work don't bother planning anything as shifts change at a drop of a hat due to no staff. Great colleagues on the whole, but get used to being everyone's problem solving punchbag.Pay is appalling and pension is diabolical. Administrator in Bristol, Bristol
