Great career
A real opportunity to make a meaningful difference to people’s lives. Rarely a dull moment. Some incredibly hardworking and inspiring colleagues. Loads of overtime opportunities. Good kit and PPE. The shift pattern and working hours does not leave with you with much energy outside of work. Desktop Investigator in Bristol

Very supportive
I joined A&S Police during the lockdown and it was the best things I have done. All staff members are friendly and inclusive. I first thought working independently from home, I would struggle, however, that was far from the case. My superiors are amazing. They are supportive, for both my personal and professional life. A&S are advocates for progressing yourself! There is so much support with wanting to profess in the force. I highly recommend Avon and Somerset Constabulary as employers. Crown servant in Bristol

Difficult job.
Job very varied, shift work don't bother planning anything as shifts change at a drop of a hat due to no staff. Great colleagues on the whole, but get used to being everyone's problem solving punchbag. Pay is appalling and pension is diabolical. Administrator in Bristol, Bristol

Good working environment
Good place to work, chance for progression. Work load in most departments is heavy. Training for admin roles can be rather poor and not very thorough. What would you say about your employer?
