Not 1, not 2 but 3 new store openings today & that makes it 5 for the week! Wishing our Turner Rise, Pitsea & Ramsey store teams a great day, as they open their doors to welcome customers old & new 🎉
B&M is a family run business where the emphasis is on speed, fun and getting the job done. We are rapidly expanding across the UK and we are looking for the most talented retail professionals to join our team. With our ongoing expansion plans there really hasn’t ever been a better time to join B&M! We are currently in the process of opening one new store a week, so we have a variety of exciting retail careers available nationwide. Working in our Stores
Our customers love us, they can’t wait to see what amazing brands they can find week in week out and always at sensational prices. We’re all about giving a customer the environment that they love to be in and our store teams work collectively to make the store the very best it can be – from the look and feel, the vast options of choice of products and prices through to a friendly face in the aisle or at the till. You have autonomy as a store management team to merchandise your store in order to maximise your sales. We’re opening stores consistently and at pace .. blink and there’s another one! So yes we offer growth and stability and with supporting all of this we develop from within.
Working in our DC
Our DC’s are the cogs that keep the wheels turning. Right stock, right time, right place is our mantra. We’ve got the systems in place and the technology to boot. So everyone in DC knows how important collaborative working is, but equally to make it a place where you can get genuine camaraderie, know you’ve put in a decent shift and that you’ve supported someone else along the way. Time waits for no-one so it’s all about maximum efficiency in a safe environment that is designed to drive productivity that our DC teams strive for.

Talent & Development
Investing in our people to help them fulfil their potential and progress in their careers is something we take seriously. We all have a part to play, challenging what we do, how we do it and nurturing your development to succeed. Our dedicated Learning & Development team support all our people to be the best they can be. For those of you who have a desire to progress and work hard for promotion, B&M will ensure that we help you to do so with a range of different development programmes to suit every job across Retail, Support Centre and Distribution Centres. Here within B&M, we offer you the opportunity to get formal recognition for your training through the B&M Apprenticeship Programme. Our Level 3 – Leadership and Management Diploma provides you with all the knowledge, skills and behavioural training you need to become one of our Retail Managers in the future. We are also offering a Level 2 qualification in ‘Customer Service’ for our store colleagues and a Level 2 qualification ‘Warehouse Operative’ for those of you who will be working in our Distribution Centres. And there’s more... We’re currently looking to introduce the Level 3 in the DCs too and, for our Managers, a Level 5 – Leadership and Management programme accredited by the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM). So if it's progression that’s your driver, we have it all – Apprenticeships, in-house courses and qualifications. A structured Management Development Programme is also offered to those who are keen to make their way up the career ladder and as we take talent seriously at B&M, we can offer lots of opportunities for progression!
