Answered 20 November 2020My interview was done over the phone due to Covid & the fact I had applied for a new store but I was asked very simple questions. “Can you tell me about a time you worked under pressure” “What do you know about B&M retailers & why do you want to work for us” “What hours are you available to work” “How would you travel too & from work”
Answered 9 December 2020- Applied through the B&M website. - A week later had a phonecall with someone from the main recruitment team. - A week later I had a telephone interview with the store manager. - A week later the store manager rang to inform me the job was mine & they’d be in touch soon to confirm my induction day/starting day. I applied for a new store that was due to open and so everything was done over the phone, they didn’t conduct any face to face interviews.
Answered 18 December 2020There were weeks where I would work 12 hour shifts because the staff at my store refused to do more than 4 hour day shifts.. Nobody ever offered to stay and help when it got busy
