Job Security
Production Operator/Team Leader (Former Employee) - Oxford, Oxfordshire - 5 January 2023
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedOne thing over the years at BMW was job security and the knowledge my position was valued. Pay was good and training was structured so you learnt a minimum of four roles.
Pros
Job Security
Cons
Distance from home

Poor establishment
Tool Setter/Operator (Former Employee) - Hams Hall Coleshill - 4 January 2023
The company has a very poor culture. Treatment of staff by management is awful. Also middle management are more interested in looking out for their friends rather than hard working people. Women are especially treated poorly on the shop floor.
Pros
Carpark.. salary
Cons
Awful management

Customer Service Advisor (Current Employee) - BMW - 14 October 2022
A good insight into the automative financial industry. A good way to build on customer service skills. Can become repetitive. Working culture is a team effort.

Smash your head against the wall every day
Master Technician (Current Employee) - Manchester - 9 September 2022
I have worked at a bottom end garage, consider to be one of the worst dealerships in the country. And I currently work at a BMW dealership, considered to be one of the best. There is very little difference. Staff and customers get treated near enough the same.

Production

I’ve worked for BMW Group for almost 6 years now and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every minute , the continuation of learning is very progressive and puts you in a good stead for the future.

Good all round company
Warehouse hygienist (Current Employee) - ST4 - 26 June 2022
Everything is what you expect at BMW, the workshop is clean, the people are friendly and helpful, management are always useful when having any problems ( which is not very offen ) so yes if I where to moved jobs it’s probably because of the distance from my home to work, if you have a car great if you haven’t, then I would think if it’s worth walking the 4.3 miles, if I was starting out from 18 then I would think twice but a great company to work for…………. Recommend this company to anyone

Great internship program
Insurance marketing assistant and Alphera marketing assistant (Former Employee) - Farnborough GU14 - 14 June 2022
Overall an incredible place to work, very adaptive and collaborative with great managerial support. I had an amazing year at BMW Group UK and would be happy to work there again after graduation. With lockdowns and applying for a university, year in industry internship the interview process was longer due to the number of candidates and lockdown regulations.
Pros
Flexible working, supportive managers great progression opportunities
Cons
Quantity of projects/responsibilities

Never work for this place.
valeter (Former Employee) - Southampton - 26 May 2022
DONT WORK HERE, THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU. Unfair treatment I’m the work place, if you don’t know any one “higher” your not good, they allow people to drive without a license, management put themselves before anybody else. They degrade you, be little you, control you.

Everyone is chilled
Customer Service Advisor (Current Employee) - Slough - 23 May 2022
Working here is good and managers are all good and helpfull. Training is minimal but you lean as you go which would be the same in most of the companies.

Good place to work, great pay
Oxford IT Engineer (Former Employee) - Oxford, Oxfordshire - 5 April 2022
Pay was great, management could be a little power tripping and making your job more difficuilt but overall good place to work, can be many quiet days where you're getting paid for not much work if that is yoyr thing and generally isn't extremelly busy at least in the IT sector
