Couldn't buy a job like that

DSG was a great place to work. Work life and benefits made it extremely pleasant to work there. Money wasn't great but enough. A few opportunities to progress.

Superb environment until it's not!

Great when the SLT are happy, thrown to the wolves when their support is required. Otherwise, Lyneham is a dynamic and interesting place to work. Shame about the sub culture.

Try to avoid

Initially sounds good, however No training is ever provided given its unique equipment you have to learn on the job. Massive amount of favouritism in the workplace.Poor pay which is getting worse and worse.Preach health and safety unless it hinders you then it's swept under the carpet.No progression.

Worse place to work

Working for Babcock is the worse job I’ve ever had. The management are clueless, they don’t know how to manage their own lives let alone workshops. Bullying is a day to day occurrence. There’s no room to improve yourself/get a promotion. Everyday they bring if something new which deteriorates the working environment further.
