Operations Manager (Former Employee) - Bottesford - 19 September 2023
Clicky depot at bottesford. Wouldn't recommend to someone who was going to work in that department. Go to the derby office instead if it is possible to.

Ok
Engineer (Current Employee) - Birmingham, West Midlands - 6 September 2023
Not bad the working hours are better than some contractors. I would like to see better support for younger staff, the older ones just sit and do nothing whilst others do work.

Feels like school
Resourcer (Former Employee) - Treforest, Rhondda Cynon Taff - 29 August 2023
The work itself was fine but was little to no training and people acted as if they were still in school. Bullied by higher up and pushed out so did not feel comfortable going into work. Some great people there that are still in contact but overall not great

Good company
Graduate Engineer (Former Employee) - Derby, Derbyshire - 28 August 2023
The pay is good for a graduate. Everyone I've worked with were very welcoming and helpful. Everyone had time for me. Good training for graduates and varied projects for experience.

Was based on the overhead project in Bristol The planning was always poor Overtime was forced upon you Pay rates was great and on-time Great staff-(gangs) but poor planners unrealistic schedules pouring concrete 1800 most days zero thanks or anything. Was a secure job but working 0630-1900 almost 4 days of the week then Saturday 0630-1500 then Sunday 0630-1700 you have zero social life but pay was 1900 per week but not worth it if want to give up weekend work you then get a disciplinary even though is meant be optional I’ll happily work again for these but not this project as it’s not we’ll ran Had great progress within 5 months loads of tickets I stayed here for 2 years till went to a small family firm

Dangerous Health and Safety Culture
Health and Safety Advisor (Former Employee) - Dartford - 25 June 2023
As a safety professional, I felt very uncomfortable working for this company. The lack of safety on the job site was worrying and was often overlooked by the senior project team. This was due to the use of cheap, under skilled subcontractors that came in under budget.
Pros
Some nice people
Cons
Their approch to safety on the work site

All mouth no action
Field service Engineer - Stoneblower OTM (Former Employee) - Field Based - 21 June 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? No one at board level has clue what the staff do What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Getting them to pay you correctly What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Corporate lies in abundance to make them look like a caring company What is a typical day like for you at the company? I was lucky working field based hidden from the corporate nonsense

Boring job
Sheet Metal Worker (Former Employee) - Birkenhead, Merseyside - 30 May 2023
Constantly getting looked at over your shoulder by managers who don't know the job, stop watches to see how long you take doing the job, manager more interested if you've got your glasses, gloves and overalls on than just letting you get on with the work
Pros
Modern factory, early finish on Friday
Cons
No heating in the winter, poor management

Poor Management
Storeman (Former Employee) - Wellingborough, Northamptonshire - 2 May 2023
Terrible place to work. Management can’t make consistent decisions. Kept moving the goalposts and took credit for my hard work. No working system in place and stock inventory was non existent. No responsibility taken for any mistakes, always looking to place the blame elsewhere. Avoid
Pros
None
Cons
Long hours, poor pay, no guidance, very disorganised
