Team leaders under too much bad stress.
One of these quantity driven firms - there are many these days. Team leaders or those training to be, were under too much stress. This became bad stress. Some took their frustrations out on those under them. The site had a high turn over of staff. Health and Safety sppeared to take second place to quantity. The pay was competitive but certainly not over paid. Insufficient car parking spaces; if you wasn't on their books, you couldn't park on site. So one had to hope that one could secure a space somewhere close by before the time to start work. Some had been employed by the agency that works with the firm for FIVE years. Certainly better then claiming benefits and it is something to include in your CV.

Agency staff treated like dirt.
Where to start with this shower... Agency workers are treated unfairly here. Management and their supervisors are bullies. Overtime only paid at time and a third even on Sundays. They make people work 2 YEARS before receiving full pay. Production manager seems to favour Hungarian girls and gives them contracts even when they haven't been there half as long as others. Permanent staff given gifts, perks and cash bonuses that are denied to agency workers who do the same job. YOU CANNOT EVEN PARK ONSITE. Beware if you decide to work here - you will be constantly lied to by management about the prospect of a permanent job just so you don't go elsewhere. Then you will be told by text that there is no work by the cowards at Cordant People.
