Over worked, under paid!
HGV Class 1 Driver (Current Employee) - Sheerness - 27 July 2021
I used to love this job but like any big company they got greedier. Considering the massive turnover no profit has been filtered down to the work force. The salary used to be the best in the trucking industry, now all other firms have caught up and over taken them.
Pros
No weekend working
Cons
Under paid, never listened to by allocators, long hours with little reward!

Hgv Driver
HGV Class 1 Driver (Former Employee) - Doncaster - 22 July 2021
Worked there for nearly 6 years. Job and work colleagues ( some ) were OK. Plenty of snitches in the job that poke there noses in other people's personal lives and always compare and moan on wages etc. All of the management need sacking and replaced because I feel the company is toxic. They say you can earn 45 - 60k..... lies. Work is poor with multi drop..... 1 car here and one car there. Allocation ain't got a clue about where places are, and management are as much use as a chocolate fireguard if you complain. Wage structure needs canceling and an hourly rate introduced, but that will never happen, as high management are only interested in top line profit for their shareholders. Management and allocation have their fair share of brown nosers that get the good jobs whilst the rest of us got 10 cars, 9 drops. Certain Union reps are in the pockets of the management, and don't care about the drivers. Doncaster management don't answer there phones, but if you do damage or infringements, then they find the time to call and book you in for a discipline. So, overall, don't bother with this company, between management that don't care, and poor wage structure, you'll be quickly disappointed. Management is the Scotland Base are two faced. Don't trust them! I worked at Doncaster and that was bad enough. You've been warned ⚠️
