I learnt a lot about complex needs but felt under valued

The pay is good,love that you get trained regularly and it’s a fun job to do,expect that you have to wait for days to hear from management ,they are trying but can do better.

Good Pay however Poor managment

Very decent pay and convenient weekly pay. However no support from management. Members from hire up tend to leave their jobs frequently. Management barely support with training.

Really disappointing company who do not support staff

Was hesitant to join as it was a zero hour contract, but I was assured by the care manager I would be guaranteed 36hrs a week without a problem. Biggest lie ever , I had a weeks work then nothing more!! Really disappointing company I would avoid working here if possible as what they say and what they do are two completely different things.

Lovely family

I was very fortunate to work with a lovely family that I got on with very well and also worked with some very good carers. I was always paid properly and on time if I wanted any extra shifts, this offer with available, quite often the worst thing about working for Bespoke, what’s the management it was very poor communication that led to a lot of confusion.

Deceptive, be careful because there may not be a job for you after you are offered one. I didn’t even get started because I wasn’t given a start date. Even after many phone calls and emails.They replied to none STAY AWAY. The only good thing was the interview it was done remotely so I wouldn’t have to see their faces

Don’t work for this company

Management are awful. I never even met my manager. The working conditions are very bad and there is no support off anyone. If you have an issue about anything there is no one to support you. If you want an honest review just dont work for this company.

Good pay, that's a only good thing!
Support Worker/Carer (Current Employee) - Cumbria - 27 December 2022
Unfortunately they are not caring at all the management, no respect for clients or staff, no response to calls, when answered normally answered with either no care to the problem or too bust to listen to the concerns, very poor training with no support when you are new to the package and expectation to cover more and more shifts. Pros okay pay. Cons 13h shifts throughout the day with little to none brakes. If something happens where staff need support or client, we'd call the manager for help almost always told I can't help or I don't know..manigment is absolutely useless. When staff didn't turn up for shifts we where stuck for an extra 2-7 hours on top of the 13hour shift jue to not finding someone to come in, manigment wouldn't even come to release us from the shift. We would get told off for calling after 6pm (just needed some support) but would be told off. 8 months of working there I only seen my manager 2 times.

Dreadful company
Care Worker/Support Worker (Former Employee) - North East - 7 December 2022
Poor salary, uncaring management, no respect or compassion for clients or staff, no response to emails or texts, very poor training with no support when you are new to the post, an expectation to cover more and more shifts with no thanks or remuneration. I am so grateful I no longer work for this company.

A very rewarding job

The job itself is very rewarding. For the most part Bespoke is a great company but there has to be some improvements made as soon as possible as far as management go,not getting a reply to texts,emails or phone calls for 3+ weeks is unacceptable. I asked for a bit more flexibility around my children/home life and it was like talking to a brick wall, no help at all! which led me to make a decision to leave the company and my package (which I LOVED working for) there is also a lot of favouritism going on between carers and their managers.

If you don't have a soul and you can't do a good day's work perhaps this is the company for you. You will work every hour until you burn out. The best thing about the job is you have more brain cells than the management team put together and you don't even need level 3 in adult social care for that!

I would kindly ask you to remove this review. We are Bespoke Care & Support Service limited in Huddersfield. A small family business. We do not hire personal assistants and we do not cover cumbria.

Ok to work for but disorganised at times

Management were lovely at first but once you tell them no to covering a shift they can turn funny with you my manager was lovely but had quite a few managers covering north east didn’t know whether you were coming or going at times sending different Rotas out etc sometimes 4 different ones!

Always do what they say
Support worker - bank staff (Current Employee) - Lincoln - 11 August 2022
Care jobs are about what you make them, what suits one person will not suit another. My experience of this company has been fantastic, I'm bank staff and I'm always offered shifts in advance without any pressure. I have constant access to training, on call are exceptionally helpful and the managers are available, do what they say they will. They only have one package in my area and the supported hours are mainly afternoon/evening or I would happily work for them full time.

The worst

I have working in care for 3 years now, And this is the worst care company. The management don’t know how to run a care company. Been sent to a hospital without a dbs. The only good thing is the pay per hour but not worth it as the management will damage your mental health.
