STRESS,STRESS,STRESS,STRESS,STRESS.Long hours, Lies, Fluctuating wages. No personal time. Plenty of excuses. Management act like they are doing you a favor by hiring you so you are at their beck and call. Cant pay you properly.Whatever you do, DON'T BE ILL. They will HOUND you every 20-30 minutes until you answer them by text or call when you're in your bed. They HATE when you say no and WILL punish you for it at a later date or time of your next shift.AVOID

Great place to work

Great place to work in a busy shopping centre in Redditch however the shifts are long and the job is stressful when the managers won’t discipline staff unless they want to

Management have a bad habit of blatant favouritism to their ‘friends’ there are individuals who started in security 12 months ago and have had multiple promotions and are now themselves managers. Laughable really, No wonder they are losing so many contracts

Working at Ark Data Center Cosham

I had an very bad experince working at Ark Data center as Security officer, as you have do external patrol for all 5 different building and there is one place which is very dartk in the night and the touch what company provide is not that bright also you have to stand outside in the cold weather and check each and every car who comes onsite there is no proper gate house I can say that it's not really a data center very unprofessional work enviroment and the staff do not get along I felt so un confirtable working over there and i left the job in 7 days

I have worked here for over a year. I generally enjoy working here, although like most jobs in the cleaning industry it can be challenging at times. It would be nice if bidvest would invest more in their equipment as there is a lot of outdated equipment and vehicles. Also a pay rise wouldn't go a miss lol. It would be nice if the company would offer more incentives like life insurance etc

Toxic company

Bullying n harassment for 2 plus years, tried to raise through proper channels unsuccessfully. Then injured in course of duties & hounded because of it. The treatment finally wore me down & now out on sick leave

Not fun in work

Staying away from air coach. Post saying transport cleaning. Standing freezing temperatures in winter and raining day is worse. Worse is cabinet as a staff room. Not treat well to any staff. Treat like us a dog house! Staying away from translink, special those supervisor or boss like to trace you up every day! They never get sack by someone make a complaint to human resources. Not very fair to everyone in team.

This company is the 3rd largest in UK I believe so if it was that bad then why people work for the. Also I get people saying we are just a number well any work place we are just a number the management in North Yorkshire region is great alway there to help can't fault the management team always willing to listen so the people who moan about Biddestone or any other company should have a reality check work is what you make it out to be if your not happy leave I been with bidvest noonan for over a year never had any issues in fact I've had the support I needed when I need it

Its ok for a short time

Security job isn’t the best but if you work Monday ti Friday its a decent money, Bidvest is a good company to work, management was exceptional in my case, job security is low as security won’t have any sick pay or s payrise or any thing,you work as long as you’re healthy.

Not the best place to work

Management don't care, are never here and they sweep concerns under the rug, workplace culture is gossip and talking behind your back. your told you can take breaks but never able to take them, there is also a very high staff turn over. there are next to no benefits including no sick pay. The good part of the job is no management, 4 days off, there is never a dull day, and you get to meet a wide range of people. If you want to work long hours at just over minimum wage, assaulted and deal with bodily fluids this is the job for you.

Worked at Cineworld Glasgow - wouldn't recommend

The team is mostly Polish, and the supervisors are also Polish. The standards they set on the newcomers/ non-Polish people are extremely high, yet totally relaxed for others.If you leave a bit of popcorn underneath the seats, you'll be scolded and told to go back in to re-do it. You have 3 hours to clean usually 3 screens. It may sound easy, but it's not when the cinema screens are left a total mess with popcorn and spillages everywhere. They'll check your work after with a torch, and inevitably find a bit of popcorn somewhere, and you'll be told to go back in do it again.There's biases/ favoritism in management, which is a big problem in my opinion. Some of the Polish people have been there for months/ years, so they call the shots and management give them an easier time.There's also a shortage of cleaning staff. The shift is supposed to be 3 hours, but you'll regularly go over because there's too much to do. You'll be told to "work faster", but working faster results in possibly leaving some popcorn behind, then you'll be told to "work better". You can't win. Not enough cleaners and not enough time. There's many other cleaning jobs available. Most of which are much easier than this job. I'd highly recommend not working here, and just go elsewhere. You'll stay here for a bit and then realise it's not worth it and leave.Finally, the Bidvest Noonan portal is absolutely ancient. I'd be amazed if their portal is secure. It's looks totally outdated and barely functions properly. This is what they use to upload your pay slips, as well as other sensitive information. They -
