Staff not valued and never appreciated. Pure pay as you go job with no minimal benefit. There's a feeling that staff could easily be replaced when they choose to leave
Low pay and no benefits, even at Christmas time
The company always looked after for my wellbeing, provided the staff with everything to perforn my job in a professional way (uniforms, ppe, a very nice online training package) and most important gave me the chance to learn new things and to advance in many aspects of my role. Always had a friendly and professional relationship with my Site Manager, Area, Regional and Contract Directors. It has been a great experience working with Bidvest Noonan.
Good incomes, flexible, great jobsite, great team.
Nothing to complain about
Working here is a sure fire way to find yourself in constant bad moods and lost of all drive, management talks behind all employees backs right down to personal matters, horrible rota rotation, constantly being pressured to do double your contract hours wile refusing to just give you more contacted hours and your hours may change without notice. Hated this job and anyone I know who worked here hated it too. AVOID!!!
You get to quit
I have had experience in multiple different locations including a bus station, bank and school. Shifts can be short with lots to do but there is plenty of time given for you to be able to do. The area manager I have deals with a lot of issues you call him about and tries to find solutions with you and for you.
Set hours each week
Dreadfully managed, treated like a nobody, expected to forget family commitments even told to and go do a shift
There used to be really good employee's at this company, but they managed to annoy all of them and they left, shame because they lost a lot of good staff in Belfast who are now supervisors managers etc
Rota changes nonstop, treated like dirt
For as long as I worked, there was no system as to who does what and when. The amount of work you needed to do in the time that was given was way too much.I'd be almost running around trying to get things done in time. The official hours set in the contract was 16 per week yet I would always have too start working 10 min early and would finish working 10 or 15 min after the end of the shift which would add up to two or three extra hours per week which I did not get paid for.Stay well away from this company.
Pay too low for the amount of work, unethical work environment
Most other guards where getting double time for doing shifts when begged to cover I got nothing some even left around the same time I did and got they're holidays remaining paid to them like 3 4 hundred I got nothing and had about 35 days left as holidays
Double time bank holidays
Just a number they pick and choose, who gets paid what, when agreeing to cover but used me as a walk over
Were do i start get offerd the job the supervisor very very broken english says i need to take my break on a 4.30 hour shift as i lose 30 mins of pay also tells me take as much breaks as u want just dont get caught no training provided gives a tour of shop and crack on also just look busy im not to sign in or out the man hasent a clue complete shambles
Do as you want
However, the worst is they try to steal your holidays allowance. I work 42 hours minimum a week but Bidvest want to pay 8.4 hours holiday per day. I had not choice but take Bidvest to court.
all the above. avoid avoid avoid
