Horrible management
Supervisor (Former Employee) - Belfast, County Antrim - 30 May 2023
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedSTRESS, STRESS, STRESS, STRESS, STRESS. Long hours, Lies, Fluctuating wages. No personal time. Plenty of excuses. Management act like they are doing you a favor by hiring you so you are at their beck and call. Cant pay you properly. Whatever you do, DON'T BE ILL. They will HOUND you every 20-30 minutes until you answer them by text or call when you're in your bed. They HATE when you say no and WILL punish you for it at a later date or time of your next shift. AVOID
Cons
Long unwanted hours, Punished if you dont stay past your contracted hours.

Cleaner (Former Employee) - Belfast City Centre, County Antrim - 10 May 2023
Often stressful and challenging circumstances. Management do not really want any hassle from staff and just want an easy life. Staff Often kept in the dark. Money is what motivates the bottom line.
Pros
Easy work.
Cons
Long hours

Jobs at Bidvest Noonan
in BelfastNot fun in work
Cleaner (part-time) (Former Employee) - Belfast, County Antrim - 6 May 2023
Staying away from air coach. Post saying transport cleaning. Standing freezing temperatures in winter and raining day is worse. Worse is cabinet as a staff room. Not treat well to any staff. Treat like us a dog house! Staying away from translink, special those supervisor or boss like to trace you up every day! They never get sack by someone make a complaint to human resources. Not very fair to everyone in team.
Pros
Holidays
Cons
Everything and unfairly treat by company

Love it
great company to work for, amazing colleagues and managers/supervisors. It was my first job ever and couldn’t have had a better experience. So easy to get along with everyone and communicate with supervisors about needs or concerns.

Maritime Security Officer (Current Employee) - Belfast - 27 May 2022
I’ve been working for Noonan’s now for over 4 years I’m a casual working working at various sites I’ve never had a problem with them the management can be a bit lax but other than that all is good. Wages are good and always paid correctly and also paid every fortnight which is handy also.

Depending on your site you get
Security Officer (Former Employee) - Belfast - 17 August 2021
Not really a bad company to work but has had too many managers who don't know how to do their job never mind training their own staff. They promise you the world and treat you like dirt. Some managers haven't got much experience and just want an easy life and they don't care about your wellbeing.
Pros
No perks
Cons
Long hours and broken promises

Good to work for.
Housekeeper (Current Employee) - Belfast - 4 February 2021
I work for noonan as a Housekeeper in tesco metro Belfast. There good to work for, hours and life balance is also great. If you are willing to do the extra shifts they are willing to give you first crack at them if and when there is any shifts going which is good. Down fall is that head office have attempted to try to wigle there way round not to pay me my proper wage a few times, When confronted about it they've said that I was over paid in my last pay. Which is lies other than that I have no complaints about the staff or supervisor I work with.
Pros
First crack at extra shifts if and when they are there and if you are willing to work them
Cons
Head office on a couple of occasions tried not to pay me my full wage for the hours I worked.
